Paul Stanley has said that they would write songs with whatever style was popular in the moment. They then decided to focus themselves into just the rock genre.

Gene Simmons vocals and the background vocals are nice. The Jethro Tull-like flute 🪈 in the background is excellent as well. I prefer the heavier classic KISS version on Dressed To Kill, but this original session/bootleg is good as well.

Always hated Jethro Tull, so the flute kind of ruins the experience for me. Great song on Dressed To Kill, however.

It always drives me CRAZY when Gene and Paul put this music down (Same with The Elder) because the Wicked Lester material is TREMENDOUS. My guess is that deep down they know it's waaaaay superior to what Kiss went on to do. The entire Wicked Lester album is fantastic. THAT'S what Kiss should do NOW. Release the WL album on vinyl with a paste on cover EXACTLY as it would have been in 1972. The critics, who they pan, would probably love the music.

There is so much beauty in this song. The vocals 🎤 are sleepy as if Gene would "sing by moonlight", as if "She" had enchanted him. The early Jethro Tull influence sounds nice, but had to disappear later in KISS. I didn't know Wicked Lester until now. I love this song❤

That horn section at 2 minutes in reminds me of Chicago. The flute reminds me of Jethro Tull, and the guitar parts remind me of BTO. Over all, not too shabby for what it is. It's sounds creative and original. I had no idea that Gene and Paul were that versatile.
