Wow.. unreal! it worked.. THANK YOU! hey you build great boxes too! I didnt even think to do a video on my repair. My touch screen would respond but the touch position was off. this fixed it. WARNING its HOT!! use a cotton bath towel, Paper towel,, yea I'm not that tough hahah! 393 Oklahoma said it

@@rikm2625 so mine worked for about another 6 months and then it started having problems again so I redid the heating trick and it worked for about another month and then eventually I just bought a new Edge tuner

I wish i knew this 3 years ago. I bought a new one to replace the one that stopped working. I tried to get it repaired, cts told me it wasn't possible!

@@steverabchuk5401 well I'm sure it's nothing that they would cover underneath warranty repair but that's what you got to do to fix it is to heat up the connection point between the ribbon cable and the screen and pinch it back together

thanks for the video... didn't work for me. I used a heat gun on low and got the lower corner hot like you suggested... pinched for several minutes... still no workie.

I have the same unit and is doing the same thing...would you consider fixing a unit for a fee ? I'm fairly good at fixing stuff but without actually seeing you take the unit apart I feel little lost on procedure lol
