Love watching sailing races with little wind. Very very relaxing. As a sailor though you gotta love high winds. Great videos guys

I didn't realize one could maneuver a sailboat in dead calm like that! Those guys from Boston are sure giving you a run for their money. Great Sailing!!

Ideally the jib should be replaced with a nylon light air sail though or fly a cruising chute. Nylon sails catch the air better in light air as they are so light.

Good work on those lines again. Soak it up. Experience leads to confidence, leads to more fun.

The picture that is on the cover of the video of all the sail boats on the water is really a nice shot...that would make a nice picture worth framing, Costco does a nice canvas picture you can order.

Sweet vid man. Your videos are actually the first ones that inspired me to want to sail. You helped me relize that you don't have to be rich to be able to buy a sailboat and sail in the ocean. I want to do the same thing and film everything just like you. Please continue to inspire us with your videos and maybe I will see you out there one day. Good Luck out there.

I enjoy your videos. I like that you use a very sharp and clear camera. I have seen other sailor videos recently that are not of as good of clarity You sound is good too. I am curious what software do you edit your video with?.

Racing like what you are doing is good experience for cruisers. You can learn how you don't need to use your engine when the destination happens to be located where the wind is coming from. You just need to zig zag making sure you keep the boat to windward of your destination. Also in conglomerant racing with boats of all sizes, boats are given handicaps as you must know by now. So a larger boat that crosses the finish line ahead of a smaller boat doesn't necessarily wind. It depends on the handicap of the boats. You can look them up here. www.ussailing.org/search/?cx=017689180361248526970%3Aseofoswafae&cof=FORID%3A10&ie=UTF-8&q=sailboat+handicap+ratings&siteurl=www.ussailing.org%2F&ref=&ss=
