@Iflie2 жыл бұрын
It's easier to deny when it's another woman and maybe the other woman is married to because this is a great deal of organisation when you can just be openly friends and no one would bat an eye over it. Just meet during afternoons and meet the kids and she could tell her husband exactly who she was meeting and when. It's the lying and hiding that exposes them. Also OP admits not liking DIL so why would you want to go to their house and sit and wait for her son to come home. Awkward. I can take a wild guess that OP shows up uninvited. I wouldn’t want this women as my MIL she sounds unbearable.

Story 2: NTA and considering that the men complaining see watching their own kids as "babysitting" I think they should be spending more time _with_ them rather than _away_ from them 🤔 maybe it'll make them appreciate their damn family more 🤨 what Op is doing sounds really nice Story 3: Op is she actually as bad as you say or do you not have a relationship because you let your complete and utter disdain for her not wanting kids among other things show every time she's so much as in the same building as you 😬 cause if the way you talk about her here is anything like how you talk or act around her irl I wouldn't want anything to do with you either

Story 1: unless OP is super controlling, her excuse about the incident with the nanny makes no sense. If she'd been honest, there would likely have not been an issue. The fact she wasn't and is going to the same place is super suspicious. Edit after first PI update: is OP discounting the LGBT angle? "There's no guy involved" means nothing... Edit 2: she was confronted with pictures, denied it, and then tried to make him feel bad. That's guilty behavior. She can say "just a friend" but OP would know if she kisses her friends the way he saw in the picture.

A standard trick that seems to work is a voice-activated recorder inside the car, but, since the wife has a routine with her lover, that may not help. And, no, being a PI isn't an interesting job, particularly if cheating spouses is a specialty. It's either research and deep diving into a person's life, or sitting in a car for hours hoping for something to happen. And having a same sex affair is still an affair. OP needs to dump her ass.

Story 1. You don't kiss friends, most likely on the lips, unless in a relationship. OP's wife is cheating for sure and I'm not sure why she's denying it even with pictures. Op in story 3 was totally an AH, but that comment saying the other daughter-in-law was a plain Jane because mother-in-law approved of her (and that she would hang out and knit with her) was also an AH. Just because a woman chooses to take on more feminine hobbies and wear more conservative clothing doesn’t automatically make her any plainer or less attractive then a woman who doesn’t mind showing it off. What matters here is if she has the choice. Let’s not force either extreme.

But if they weren’t, clearly they put aside differences. MIL here is saying, essentially, “I require all my sons’ spouses to be willing to ‘give up their bodies’ for a baby.” Ok, but that’s not always about physical looks, it’s about what the body goes through in pregnancy. It doesn’t sound like he was purposely trying to take the bonus or planning role. He even offered his own boat to the child free so they could party.
