So if you find yourself thinking "I should leave a note in case my spouse kills me" .. it's probably time to end that relationship, fast. Murder also taints that perfect family image.

1.) The Dr. who treated her after the barn incident stated the wounds were NOT consistent with a horse kick. The wounds were smaller and there were several of them. 2.) Wish you had explored further the interesting aspect of why someone would stay in this situation. Most women in a relationship with a man who has attacked them strongly feel leaving them would trigger an escalation - as it so often does esp. with psychopaths. Also leaving takes strength and how strong are you feeling after an axe attack? Not to mention the cognitive dissonance that might occur after such an attack.

As we all know, relationships are so complex in every aspect. You could be sleeping with enemies. I thought I met a man of integrity; a most caring, honest, and responsible man with strong work ethics and married him 22 years ago. It turned out extremely disastrous, and I couldn’t trust myself of making a right judgment anymore. So I decided to remain single. One thing I trust myself is the decision I made 18 years ago.

I wouldn't say impossible with many things people haven't seen before. I was at a range qualifying on the 240B. We pair up with a battle buddy so they could help us walk in the rounds because the weapons were not zeroed. After my section sergeant called for a cease fire I sat up away from the machine gun and my battle buddy found a round that had not been spent an the ground and dropped it into weapon. It instantly fired. My section sergeant ran up screaming (this was in 2007 just prior to deployment) and I explained want happened. I was told it's impossible to fire a round without the weapons firing pin striking the round. Luckily my spotter confirmed my story. I guess the weapon must have been extremely hot for that to happen. I'm not sure.

It is so strange how some people get so romantic about distasteful (and dishonorable) relationships. Two people who are not faithful to their spouses don't really need to get married to each other (they did not stay faithful to their spouses) and looking for an engagement ring for the new relationship is very unromantic (and doesn't really make any sense).

Hi Doc! I think she did not know exactly what happened to her in the barn in 1998. It could of been the brain injury, but, she highly suspected him. That in turn made her write the note. He was a cheater/pathological liar. Definitely could pass the lie detector test. Just my 2 cents.
@onemoremisfit
@onemoremisfit 2 жыл бұрын
There is no such thing as a lie detector test. It is called a polygraph, and it is a machine that basically charts bio data telemetry for an examiner to interpret based on the junk science assertion that the bio data can show anomalies during an untruthful response to a question. People do not "pass or fail" a polygraph test. There is no "passing or failing" result; there is only the opinion of the polygraph examiner. Please understand I am not trying to put you down, I am trying to inform you. Go back and listen carefully to what Dr Grande says about polygraph tests. He basically says they are worthless, and he is right.

@@onemoremisfit As far as I know, polygraph detects an anxiety response rather than lies, as you say. Hence why a pathological liar could flatline one - no anxiety response to lying. I think they can be useful, but the police and other people can be remarkably stupid when they do make use of them.

There is a cop with a YT channel I saw who talks at length about how his dept uses a polygraph to screen the cops. He actually believes in it.
