Crossing the Texas Border illegally, he got into some trouble in Richmond, Tx and jailed. His singing talents were discovered while in jail. Johnny’s big hit was - Riding my thumb to Mexico.

ThatSong was from the 1940''s Les Paul and Mary Ford. He played the guitar and she sang this song. I believe thay also did Secret Love, which Freddy did. Secret Love was a Doris Day song from the 1940's. This song is good by him, and Mary Ford. That is the singer Don Williams. This show is Pop Goes the Country. This was from the 1970's.
