To the girl that possibly has her period on her wedding week, it totally happened to me. My cycle is always irregular, and I totally had my period on my wedding day. I talked to my husband about this being a possibility and he was totally fine with it, and he was totally fine waiting if I wasn't comfortable. I was a virgin when I got married and we just ended up falling asleep on our wedding night anyways, so it's really no big deal.

Love this! The virtuous woman has always been something I want to strive to be, but it seemed so unreachable at times. What you said is so true, we don't have to accomplish all those things RIGHT NOW. Just because someone else might be doing a certain thing by a certain age/time doesn't mean I have to as well. God has different timelines for each of us. ❤❤ and His timing is certainly better than mine! Thank you for your encouragement! Hope Chad feels better soon!

And litteraly a few months ago I started to just TRY instead of following my feelings and 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼❤️❤️❤️ I literally feel so much closer to him now. And SAME 😂 every time he comes home and I’m messy, he goes “you’re so beautiful” and I just get so many compliments. ❤️❤️ You literally just woke me up with the expectations talk. Wow. Hopping on the TMI train to share that I too got my period on the morning of my wedding day. Despite doing my best to plan around it this had been a fear of mine since the start of my engagement and I saw it coming. I can’t encourage you enough to simply have transparent communication with your fiancé - my now husband was nothing but supportive and caring, making me feel completely safe and cherished. My doctor also suggested that (since I knew when it would come) I “preload” with a dose of ibuprofen the day before and take it consistently throughout the first couple days of my period. Not only can this help with cramps, it can reduce nausea and slow your bleeding. All that being said, our wedding night was beautiful and I wouldn’t change a thing if I could.

I really needed this! I’m so glad that you are such a good Christ centered role model, Tori. I feel like you are a great glimpse into what a mentor should be. I just moved from Texas to Mississippi within 2 days (I’m military), and the loneliness of having no friends yet while juggling huge life/jobs changes really hits hard. I encourage you to be a light during the dark or uncertain times of the lives of the women watching these videos. It helps to just get out of my own head and put things into a Godly perspective. I don’t want to give the illusion that I think you’re perfect, because none of us are, but I want you to know that you impacted me. ❤️ Much love from a Texas gal feeling out of place!
