My husband and I are in the thick of it with three rugrats ages 6, 5, and 8 months. I look forward to when we can start dating each other again. I must remind myself that these survival days will pass faster than we think, and not to forget each other in the madness. Thank you for your example.

@@Lisammifsud lol. Here we go.... Ultimately there's no real way to have real freedom in a marriage to focus only on each other as you would without children, until said children are adults and out of the house. That being said, there are levels. At the moment, my goal is to get my breastfeeding baby to an age where she is eating enough food to be left with a family member long enough for a quick date night. As the kids get older, they can be left longer. However we have very few family or friends available and/or trustworthy enough to babysit, so there's that. Once they're old enough to fend for themselves for a few hours, that'll help. Then teenagers require even less immediate care and supervision. I know from experience helping raise my 2 step sons who are now 17 and 15, and what that entails lol. My bio kids are boy, girl, girl and my son is autistic, requiring near constant supervision. My husband works full time and we're building a business while I homeschool at the moment.

Me and my fiance have been together 6 years this may and we have a 2½ and a 1 year old. We can't go out much rn but we have "our shows" 😅 and we carve out a few hours at night where we just try to giggle and talk. Weekends are where we shine cause we can both stay up later and just try to be us for a while lol.

You guys talked about this in such an awesome way. My husband and I started dating in October 1993, he proposed in December 1993, married in April 1995, then, had our son almost 10 months after our honeymoon was over. Life got hectic really quickly but, we never let that stop our relationship go downhill. Now, we’ve been together over 30 years…our son has been moved out with his fiancée for over 2 years and our daughter just finished grad school as an occupational therapist. We’re about to be empty nesters in our early 50’s and looking back we wouldn’t have changed it cuz we see people in their 40’s who have kids in elementary school through middle school and it just looks so exhausting. We say that we did it in our 20’s and now we can be alone and do things we can afford to do at the perfect time because we have no worries about kids, pets, or anything else if we want to take a vacation, a date, or sex anywhere we want to ❤😂

I love this sweet honest adult conversation. It was so refreshing and LeeAnn is such a wealth of knowledge. I’ve been with my partner for 8 years and your advice and input is inspiring. Another episode where she was talking with some mom’s she spoke on how to accept your partner as they are and not get yourself worked up over the small stupid shit that annoys you and that shift has honestly made my own relationship so much happier. I knew he was a man who left dishes in the sink when we started dating and now instead of getting upset, I just accept it and choose to focus on what he does that I enjoy, rather than getting annoyed and frustrated with the stupid little shit. Love you LeeAnn and Bert! Bert is so funny and sweet and I know he has to be an amazing Dad and friend!

Man I love this and I genuinely hope I can find this and if I don’t then I don’t want it at all because I’ve settled and dealt with so much and I will never do it again. My oldest son has made comments that he wants a step dad which broke my heart but I told him that the next person who comes into our lives will be the missing piece to our family that we didn’t know we needed and will be everything we need in a husband or partner and a dad/step dad. I’m trying to teach my boys that it’s okay to want more for yourself and not to settle for anything or anyone just because you have love for them or even have children with them.

I saw Bert's post about last first day of HS for their youngest because next year shes off to college. Im Australian and its rare to leave home to go to University unless you live outside of a major city like Sydney. Melbourne, Perth etc. University is an extension of our education so we generally live at home for all 3 years and move out once we graduate. We don't have college towns like the US or UK (where i live) so the idea of living out of home in Sydney at 18 whilst going to uni is insane.

Keto isn't lean protein. By definition the majority of calories must come from fat. You are replacing carb calories with fat calories, but ketones blunt apetite so it's easy to consume less calories overall. I prefer to go high protein (reasonably lean but a little fat), vegetables, and a little carbs because I have an active job. Also it's easier to train harder with weights or anything explosive if your muscles are full of glycogen (from carbs). Just keep the protein at 1.6-1.8g per kg of lean bodymass if lifting weigts, be in a bit if a calorie deficit, and keep processed junk to a minimum. Simple.

Bert: I don’t know how we got to this… Leanne: I don’t know how either. Bert: but anyway I I I ME ME ME… Leanne: Oh but maybe we can go back to me and how I was feeling 🤦‍♀️ He really needs to stop doing that, maybe look into how to be an active listener, especially if you’re going to keep doing interviews and KZbin videos where you’re not the only important person in the room. You deserve to be in the spotlight and talk about yourself of course, but it’s such poor taste the amount of times you turn everything into your own story at the wrong times.
