Back in the 60's, Worsley Hall, Marsh Green and Norley Hall were new housing estates and the areas were very pleasant. I always think it's a shame for the residents who look after their homes and are having to live amidst the mess caused by certain people. As with many towns and cities in the UK, Wigan does have some nice areas.

The people should be ashamed of theirselves for trashing where they live. The council should get tougher with punishing anti social behaviour with evictions and heavy fines. If you misbehave you should be on the street or prison. This minority ruins life for the majority of decent people. We pander far too much to small anti social minorities at the expense of the majority.

CRIME USED TO MANAGE SOCIETY There would be the created slums and other areas well maintained. Those people able to leave the slums for better areas then would learn to better appreciate the importance of human accomplishment. This meant that if they left the jungle and came to civilisation, so to speak, they could be proud of their own accomplishments that they made it.There was no related sympathy for those who were left behind in the jungle of drugs and deteriorating neighbourhoods.
@illusionisover858419 сағат бұрын

I'm guessing that in some posh parts of the south like Winchester, Windsor and a lot of North Yorkshire there aren't many run down estates cos only very wealthy people can afford to live there. But yeah, probably the majority of towns and cities across the country have their gloomy outcrops
@intelligenceofacertainkind3 минут бұрын
In order to qualify for social housing these days you have to be a drug addict or a recent immigrant. Social housing reflects this. The older decent people all bought their council homes long ago and younger decent people are refused social housing. When you only accept the most dysfunctional elements in society and house them all together - this is what you get. It's the opposite of what council housing used to be.

Fair play to the guy at the beginning going round picking up litter for the community. When I watch your stuff from the estates around Britain it always strikes me in most of the videos how much rubbish is left just discarded also the amount of furniture and white goods in streets . Maybe the government should start a community clean up campaign. There is no hope for us if we aren’t caring about each other or our environment. I’m a grandfather and I worry for my grandkids the future looks really bleak for their generation. Keep highlighting what you see billy if you can change one person for the better it’s worth it . 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Council used to take it for people ,they cant afford £ 30 upwards thats why its collecting in the gardens . We have the shops which as far as im concerned should be cleaning the litter up its coming from the shop .
@Invernaewhere19 сағат бұрын
@@DonnaHetherington I get what you’re saying but it’s not all down to the shops they sell things I agree but when it leaves the shop it’s down to the individual to bin it responsibly . I think the biggest cause is neglect and mismanagement by local councils. I live in Inverness and like you they charge us for bigger items and white goods but when you watch Billy’s estate videos they are all the same and I’ve also noticed that you never see bin men or street cleaners in the estates . They are in the city centres trying to give the impression that this is a great clean place to live . Billy’s videos showing what is really going on should bring shame on the government but the sad truth is no government takes responsibility the Labour Party blame the tories and the tories blame labour and meanwhile we the plebs are meant to just put up with it .

😂 Range Rover cherished in the non existent driveway. Not surprising given it’s probably worth more than the house. That ain’t a red flag is it?

Platt Bridge not much difference really though. Higher Folds in Leigh and Hag Fold in Atherton used to be rough too. Don’t know if they have improved.
