I was really excited to build this deck after finally getting my second Weezing, and then I realized that all of my Wigglytuffs are non-EX. Thanks for the vicarious experience!

To provide an interjection nobody asked for, this is my assumption on the Morgan le Fay thing. You can't generally copyright a character, since copyright is about who has the right to copy and sell media like books and movies. So protecting concepts, characters, and likeness generally falls under trademark. That "likeness" part is what I assume applies to Marvel's Morgan. It would be a stretch to file a lawsuit against someone for using a centuries-old mythical figure, but Marvel's specific character "Morgan le Fay" is her own character, and therefore subject to trademark. Sort of how like you can't sue Vertigo for having Loki and Thor in Sandman, unless they looked and acted sufficiently like Marvel's Loki and Thor. (Fun aside: This is also why a spinoff properties lean toward using the comic versions instead of the movie versions of characters. Using an actors likeness is its own separate thing from using the character's likeness, so you have an extra set of legal/financial barriers. It's also why sometimes spinoffs will have the characters look a little bit off from the actors who played the roles, since it helps them get around this.)

I tried this deck. Before this I was using a very simliar deck just replacing jigglypuff/wigglytuff with ekans/arbok. Both are good but I feel like the latter was more effective. Arbok needing 1 less energy to attack and 100% preventing them from running away feels more reliable than the sleep coin flip, even though wiggly does more damage

Running one regular wiggly is always a good option in these lists. I also like two farfetch'd in in there two to make your bad draws less bricky.

As I recall, some TCG players went back and did a retro tournament using the first three wizards of the coast sets (Base, Jungle and Fossil). Back in the day the meta was Hitmonchan, Syther agro. But they discovered that the best deck was actually with Wigglytuff.

I’ve been beating people up pretty bad with wigglytuff eggectutor. The eggy puts a lot of pressure on mewtwos and pikachus early and wiggly is great.

I have been hyping this deck since I first got to play it. Its fairly flexible to build around so you can make the deck work even if dont have all the most optimal cards.

I have the same deck but have Hypno in the deck as well for sleepy time from the bench while I get Wigglytuff set up. I feel it really helps stall out for the EX to get online

I started playing this and haven't lost in like 10 games. It's insane. Can't wait for the new jigglypuff to make this even better I'm also playing one base wiggly instead of the x-speed for games where I need a 60 power single prize attack in a pinch. It's come up surprisingly often

You should try basic Articuno instead of kang, let you play two misty which allows faster build up for the Wigglys :)

The mythos character is public domain but Marvel can copyright a version of the character and its likeness as long as it is unique enough to seperate from the public domain version. Its one of those things where the side who would sue would need to prove that the difference is enough to validate a copyright on that version.

Ditch the x speeds and the Giovannis and put in old amber and aerodactyl. Aerodactyl doesn't mess with your basics plus it can be a plan B in the deck if you can't get wiggly online fast enough. Putting their mewtwo with 4 energy back into their hand all because you flipped heads once feels so satisfying lol. X Speed isn't really doing a whole lot for you and Giovanni is nice but is the extra 10 damage worth it over having a 3rd cheesy strategy in the deck?

I don’t think jolteon is necessarily bad but in a pikachu deck I think evee just brings down the damage output if you don’t pull jolteon quick.

Insane energy requirement with no way of accelerating them and low damage. People are using him just as a bad staller to set up their strong Pokémon on the bench. One of the worst cards in the game unfortunately.

I played 10 games in a row and Lost everytime : 2 scenarios : - I Don't get a good enough hand at the start and in this fast otk meta I get destroyed by fast decks (Pikachu starmi moltres etc). - when I do get wiggly, you need Time to set it up and you cant one-shot anything and on top of that you loose every single Time you dont get the coin right (even when you do its not a garantee win). I often get stuck with item cards and 2 koga that are dead cards when you have nothing to use them for. In this meta, really do not play this

If you have this deck, definitely play it. There's no reason not to. It's the only way to know how much you like it and how to most effectively counter it, as well as to create better versions of said deck. That's the "right way" to play card games.

That whale thing is true though. If your friend list has only whales on it, you are more likely to get good wonder pick options because they buy so many boosters, there's more rare cards in the wonder picks you get through them.

Also, the number of wonder picks offered is heavily limited. I just want to be sure before I remake my friends list lol
