As a young kid, I LOVED Wii music. To be fair, I was big into music already and the improvisation ability. I'd spend hours in the "preview your instruments" section trying to improv some fun rhythms. Plus, learned a lot of new instruments. I was the target demographic and I loved it.

I actually really enjoyed Wii Music. As a musician, I didn't take it for a educational route but just to have fun, which I had many a laugh with my siblings. From attempting to get good scores on the mini games to just going ham on some of the...bizarre instruments (karate?), I have good memories of Wii music. Wii Music might not be the best game, but as a child I had plenty of fun playing it with my siblings and figuring out all of the asinine instrument combinations we could come up with and fighting over how the album would look. The nostalgia for this one is strong for me, and it will always be among my favorites titles for the system for the hours of fun I got with my brothers and sisters. I think the good and simple entertainment you could get out of the experience when playing with others is Wii Music’s most charming point.

I really want a sequel with better song selection (especially with more Nintendo songs), a music creation tool, more minigames, and just better everything. My daughter when she was 7, 8 and 9 years old absolutely love this wii music. It was easy to pick up and play for families. And really that's what games are all about is if they are fun for you.

Got this game from a comic store yesterday, decided to play it today. Honestly just as good as I remember. It's quite fun, the songs are bops, and Sebastion is even more terrifying than I remembered. Will say I'm still extremely confused about how to play most of the gameplay. Anyone who can play a song on Wii Music has all my respect.

I got this game for Christmas one year and I would just play the bell game over and over again. Also as an artist, the album cover feature had a hold on me as a kid. I would spend way too long trying to make a perfect cover lol
