Wii Sports Golf Terrain Randomizer

This is a randomizer mod I made a while back but never released because I wasn't happy with how it turned out. I didn't think regular gameplay would be very entertaining, so I whipped up a quick TAS run.
Basically, every time a hole is loaded, the terrain on the hole is randomized. No game files need to be modified, this is all done through code (which allows it to be different every time). The mod is designed to never give you the default terrain, but due to the algorithm I used, the randomness is not very good.
Functionally I think this is very fun to play, with some course layouts you really need to think outside the box if you want to make par. Unfortunately, the visuals are often confusing. Due to the way my code swaps textures, the terrain doesn't always look good (sometimes the bunkers are grey, etc.) I tried my best to help this by also showing the randomization on the minimap, but in some situations it is very hard to tell what the randomization pattern is.
If people are interested in this I can provide a download link or something, for now I am focusing on uploading the source code first.

@@kiwidev_ That will be cool. I hope you will be able to fix the texture issues since like you mentioned in the video description. The terrain can sometimes not look very good due to the way you did the code. It's still very cool stuff though!

what tool is needed to mod the code of the game? Brawlcrate only allows you to extract and edit textures. but the actual game mechanics you can't edit. Do I need to know programming, and if so, how would I also go about editing the files since it's all in Unicode? what tools do you use to do this? I'm interested in becoming a modder as well.
