I remember when I first saw this, and thinking what the heck is this? its so obscure!! this was the first time I actually knew pikmin were around, and I thought It was amazing. This became my game of the year 2013

when i first got this game i got stuck gave up and hated it fast forward a couple years and after using the internet to cheat i finally got into the other 98% of the story and it is now my favorite game of all time

I love this game so much!!!...Makes me feel so warm and happy playing it...Kinda takes ya to a different world :) ....And I really love our Wii U....Come on nintendo advertise a lil ....do a lil marketing I want this unit around for a while with lots more fun games....Might be my best time with a gaming unit ever!!!...But no one I know really even knows it exists ...They all think it's the old one rebranded ...C'mon nintendo spread the word!!! ...spend a lil money since you picked the wrong name for it :)

I agree. I had to use a guide for some of the puzzles in Skyward Sword. I can't imagine a little kid knowing what to do on some of those puzzles. And anyone who says the Wii U sucks obviously hasn't played the right games. New Super Mario Bros U, Zombie U, and even Nintendo land are all awesome.

I'm sure you've read Kage1713's comment by now, so allow me to add to it: As he pointed out, it's an RTS. It's not war-oriented like most RTS's are. You actually use your head in the Pikmin games. Efficiency is key. You've got (as far as I currently know) 5 types of pikmin (the little creatures you command) and they each have their own unique abilities and traits that you learn about and use to their full potential. Each enemy also usually has a special method to defeat. Wonderful series. :) §

Man, all these Nintendo trailers are making me feel bad and/or nostalgic. My whole childhood was pretty much all Nintendo and now that I'm older, I've been letting the Xbox 360 hog all my gaming time. Maybe I should reminisce and buy a Wii U and 3DS :D

Low storage space and bad battery life for the Game Pad are problems; but the main problem is that ALL of the WiiU games are coming out later than expected. The WiiU is doing great by its first year selling standards, though.

Ninja Gaiden 3 on the Wii U got the first R18+ in Australia. Retails could go to prison for selling an R18+ Game To Minors in some states. And that guy (@Dipin Sauce ) was saying Wii U has no mature games.

You can get Nintendo Land for as low as $15 new on amazon now so it really marginalizes the value of the deluxe. The 10% back on eShop purchases is also very so-so since you can still shop around for those to get better deals at retail. I've had the Deluxe since launch, but if I were buying now I'd go Basic.

Well maybe it could be that maybe they need food or Hocotate Freight could have more profits shipping food. I think maybe that the food from the Pikmin planet is a luxury, and that would explain the money meter. Although you are right, the money bar and the fact that the only things that the Pikmin are carrying are foods or fruit. Also, these foods could be used as a reference to see how big everything is compared to real life objects such as strawberries. We could see if its really is Earth.

I have one and ONLY one complaint about this game, how it couldn't have local Co-op? it would be more efficient and fun if one person control each captain, also an additional player for gamepad and sending others to places while the main player works would be useful too

So you're buying a 3DS because of sales? Newsflash. The 3DS didn't sell much better then the Wii U at first either. There are barely any games for the Wii U, which is what's keeping the sales down. When this game, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, 101 and the new Mario platformer comes out the sales will be better.
