Actually, I think the concept of a rock pikmin is really cool; it shows that pikmin really are sort like the ultimate life form on PNF-404, they're part animal and plant, and with rock and pink pikmin, they're now part earth and part insect.

What about bringing back purple and white in pikmin 4, plus the rock and flying, and maybe even a few other new pikmin. What about green pikmin that can climb, or earth pikmin that can go underground? Maybe even some way to transform pikmin into super pikmin (like bigger, stronger, faster, and maybe with some special ability depending on type). Red could breath fire, yellow could shoot electricity, and blue could drown enemies in floating spheres of water. GET ON IT NINTENDO, I KNOW YOU'LL DO GREAT!

Please, i tried to support the franchise by purchasing physical and digital versiobs of pikmin 3, also buying digital pikmin 1 and 2 and also i bought pikmin short movies HD and 3D versión on wii u and 3DS respectively, bought the Olimar Amiibo, and i bought Hey! Pikmin on 3ds... And since E3 2014 i have been dissapointed each year with no new announcements... Please i know i'm not the only one who supports the pikmin franchise, it sells well, no more spin offs non canon games please. Have a nice day. Thank you for pikmin, it is really part of my life 💚.

I think pikmin 2 caves ruined the game. it had a lot of improvements but their were too many caves which were long and repetitive. I didn't finished the game because of them. I like more the time pressure/exploration gameplay of pikmin 1/3. Just my opinion.

Thank you for stating this, if we just had annual releases from each series, the quality of the games would drop drastically due to the fact that Nintendo would have to rush to get the games out in time, quality takes priority over quantity in my opinion. But the same goes for other games, too. Smash normally has so much to do that you only really need one Smash game per generation of consoles, you only need Zelda or Mario every two or so years because these titles are of such high quality.

Yaaaaaay! I'm glad you found out through your local store because after all, there are a variety of ways in finding information on this kind of stuff. However, my point still stands. Just realize that searching that sort of thing is way much faster and easier to obtain using the internet. You don't even have to drive or walk to the nearest store, unless you really need to or like the exercise. By using the internet it's all at the tip of your fingertips. :-D Now you know!

If they make a new pikmin they have to bring back: caves, old monsters, white and purple pikmin, also bulbpikmin(?). For the new things: olimar group and alph group and they must have different paths (example: olimar explores south and alph north), black and green pikmin, new enemies, climb up trees with flying pik bois. :) Yellow pikmin is the cutest one.

They're in the game, they are just only used in Puzzle Mode. The reason for this (I assume) is because Caves are no longer going to be explored, there for, Purple and White Pikmin don't have a place to be found, since they originated in caves.

The reason why they are not bringing back the white and purple is because those are exclusive to the planet in Pikmin 2. You are in a different planet in Pikmin 3 so there is different exclusive Pikmin although red, yellow and blue are all universal.

They only exist in the multiplayer component of the game. You can play with them in several Mission and Bingo missions. Hope that helped.

If I was making the Pikmin plan for Pikmin 4: We would have all 7 known types of Pikmin (The purples would however be watered down so they only count as 5 pikmin lifting something) plus 3 new ones (Light Blue: Can run the fastest and can survive freezing whether. Green: Can find and are immune to spikes and other traps. Orange: Only has 1/5 the normal pikmin power, but can speed up the item moment and is immune to all elements (Because the purple pikmin had no immunity to anything in pikmin 2).)

White and Purple pikmin are underground pikmin varieties. You won't be spending time deep underground (outside of Challenge Modes, theoretically) so you will not be seeing them in the main game.

Amazing game, had not completed it yet but got around 10 or 13 more fruits to collect and then i'll do the last area, I've been playing it for 15 hours it would probably take up to 16 or 18 hours for me to complete the story mode and then theres challenges to do after along with Bingo Battle. :D The graphics are excellent and very beautiful, the environments look amazing and I've taken some beautiful images of them with the camera you get in the game.

I'm so excited for this! :D Been waiting a long time for Pikmin 3. ;) I just really wish the White and Purple Pikmin were returning. Yeah, I get the Rock Pikmin kinda fill the Purple's role now, but Nintendo could add a special trait or ability that would be unique to the Purple Pikmin to keep them relevant. I'd also like to know what happened to Olimar and Louie, and if they'll have a cameo. Or better yet, be hidden playable characters!
