Wild Beach Camping on the West Coast of South Africa - Jeep Overland Expedition Part 4

After having some bad luck with things going wrong with Williams Jeep we had to change our plans and wild camp along the west coast of South Africa as we make our way back home to Cape Town.

That's unfortunately the price your friend has to pay for not wanting to tow a trailer and chose to have an overloaded 4x4. Most kitted out 4x4's have been found to be overloaded as per a recent Ausie study. 6 wheels spread the weight better than 4.

It's up the west coast, all the way to hondeklip baai is wild camping really nice

Thanks for the lovely comment, it's not as bad here as people make it out, look you have to be cautious and go to certain places. We have some very dangerous areas in SA and you need to stay away. But the remote and 4x4 camping is very safe as it's not accessible for everyone and to far out and nothing really to steal.. so we have never had any issues, touch wood..😁
