@@MontyOutdoors We set off from the Glen Finglas car park at Brig o'Turk Monty, think it was around 5hrs inc stopping for lunch. oh and we checked out the Roman Dunmore Hillfort at the far end.

Nice one Monty 👍 The Trossachs are lovely. Ben Venue is a great wee mountain, just beyond Aberfoyle. Good wildcamping opportunities too.

@@MontyOutdoors it's easy mate, do it from just beyond the Forest Hills hotel after Aberfoyle. It's pretty ok. Views are immense too. ATB 👍

@@MontyOutdoors I've tried a few bits of vegan food my cousin cooked for me.i was rather nice. I've not managed to get out camping for a few weeks. Hopefully I'll be out for a solo camp on Thursday and then a camp in Galloway forest with mate on Saturday. When you out next?

Loch Venachar is still one of my favourite places to camp. Another nice camp Monty👍 I’ve been tempted to get a Phoxx 1 tent every time I see them in go outdoors.

1.5kg in weight, compact, and plenty of vestibule space. Ideal for mountain camps and strong winds. For less than £50 that's great.

April to September mate. So you no longer need a permit. I'd recommend Loch Drunkie and Loch Voil. Hoping to do Loch Voil soon! And thanks, mate.

Nice one Monty. I reckon Deuter are some of the best gear you can buy. As for the grub I noticed Quorn. Are you veggy? Not a bad thing considering the planet is eating to much meat. Any way, another cool location. mark

Aye, Deuter produce gear with the highest quality behind them. The bag ain't gonna burst but I need to test it in the colder condition. Heard they do awesome backpacks too. Aye mate. I've been veggie for years! Although if you were to try veggie stuff I generally wouldn't recommend quorn! Thanks for watching 😁

One day I saw a difficult video, cried, and now I can't eat meat because of an overwhelming sense of guilt. I didn't actively choose to be one, I just saw it from another perspective.

Yeah, there's 2 car parking spots at Loch Venacher. Small 1 at the front then past this to the left before the lodges, there's a bigger car park. Tend to be rather full though.
