One of my camping experience with my first Camper Car. On the road, i saw a sign: Ski Lift, uphill Station. I thought: Oh, it´s summer = Nobody there = good spot for overnight. I drove to this station and start laughing. There were six camping vehicles with their drivers - who had the same idea. We had a great night with a campfire. Greetings from germany (liked + subscribed.)

Love seeing you guys on the road again. Must feel amazing after 5 months in the U.K. staying at home. We’ve been in Thailand since early March and it has been quite nice as the two islands we’ve we’ve spent most of the time have been quite relaxed. Feel very blessed to have been here in these crazy times but mentally it’s been a challenge to cope. I mean, this weird situation has surely not been good for anyone. Looking forward to seeing your van journey through Europe and get inspired. We’re flying to the U.K. on Saturday and will quarantine for two weeks. Feels so weird as there are like no cases in Thailand but we don’t have a choice and then we’re off to live in Alex’s house in the mountains of Spain for a while where we will start a big project just like you guys 😊

You can get all sorts of sandwich fillings in the USA--chicken salad, tuna salad, deviled ham and many kinds of cheese. In the Southern USA, they have pimiento cheese--shredded cheddar cheese, chopped roaster red peppers, mayonnaise and maybe some other seasonings. Some are good and some are not. They are best if you make them yourself, then you can control what goes in them. Good luck!

Varies types of sandwich spreads (chicken, ham, tuna, etc) are available in most deli sections of the supermarkets in the states. You can also make them at home by finely chopping leftover meat pieces (using a food processor is ideal) and blending with mayo and seasoning, etc. Best is ham, mayo and sweet relish.

Chicken and tuna salad are both commonly found in supermarket delis here. Some are posh and cost more, but the cheap stuff is just fine. Some regions also also have a cheese spread called pimento cheese. Imagine shredded cheddar, mixed with a bit of not-too-hot peppers, and enough mayonnaise or salad cream to make it spread. It’s really lovely, and pretty easy to make on the road with a small pack of shredded cheese, a few sachets of Mayo, and a sachet of hot sauce.

You were lucky that you chose East Sussex and not neighbouring Kent. Overnight parking in a roadside lay-by is illegal there, it's to stop truckers from parking up overnight and leaving a very nasty amount of mess behind in the hedgerows. The by-law applies to everyone whether in a car, van or 42 tonne artic. Penalties include an hefty fine and impounding the vehicle until paid with possible crushing of the vehicle if remaining unpaid.

Premade tubs of chicken, tuna, and egg salads are extremely common across the US. Usually just the title protein, some mayonnaise, and maybe some bits of onion or celery if you want to be posh about it. I've seen ham or seafood salads a few times. Philadelphia has a version called hoagie dip; deli ham, salami, extremely mild "provolone" cheese, shredded lettuce, and chopped pepperoncini. It is vile and I love it dearly.

Hello travel beans! Would love to try the vanlife, but unfortunately, it's not advisable in my country due to safety/ security issues. Also at the moment, only essential travel is allowed in most parts of the country, so no leisure travel! But, it's for the protection of the citizens since we're a developing country & our health system can't handle a full blown pandemic. So I'm enjoying your vids and am glad you're travelling again - followed you before when you travelled here in PH 🇵🇭. As for the sandwich spreads (ham, tuna, chicken) they're available here too - usually made by Unilever. Cheers & safe travels! 😊

I'm from the United States and I've never seen anything like that. I'm sure we do have it but it must not be common. There are two sides to the u.s. food market these days (at least in the area in from), there is the convenience food ( usually stuff that makes that spread look gourmet) and then there is the high end good quality but over priced food. Not much in between
