In this USA travel video, we continued our van life road trip series and managed to tick off a couple of bucket list places to visit in America: Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. These have ot be some of the best Instagram hotspots in the USA.
In this travel vlog, we show you how to visit Lower Antelope Canyon and what to expect once you're inside.. as well as Horseshoe bend 5 miles from the Grand Canyon. A big storm was on its way for a couple of days in the desert and we were told that it's dangerous because of Flash floods coming into the area. We travelled across the Navajo Nation to New Mexico in the hope of escaping the weather and take refuge at Alex's friend's house.
Be sure to hit that notification bell to be notified of future USA content coming soon! 🔔

⭐ About Travel Beans:
Welcome to the official Travel Beans KZbin channel! On this channel, you’ll find a variety of travel and vlog content, in which you’ll see us in places like Thailand, Japan, USA, Slovenia, and more.
In 2017 we left home with just £500 in our bank account and a dream to make a sustainable travel lifestyle happen! We are now living our dream as digital nomads and want to inspire you to create your own story, whatever it may be!
After 5 years of aimless, yet enjoyable, backpacking around the world we found ourselves in New York City battling with depression. At this point, we decided to go home and confront this problem head-on. After 6 tough months at home we decided to go away again, but this time with a goal in mind.. to turn travel into a lifestyle.
Our time spent battling depression has influenced our outlook on life dramatically! We are now traveling the world in search of what makes us happy. In our vlogs, we talk openly and honestly about our travel experiences, the digital nomad life and depression. We hope our videos can help to inspire you to create a life that makes you happy!

Well I can't believe that the tours have forced them to put steps and railings in nature. Saw all that before there were so many people. Back in the 70's when I was in my early 20's there was no one in any of those canyons or parks. You could go do without reservations, and you didn't have to pay a dime to see it. It was just wild and open. Thank goodness I saw it before all of the people showed up.

The Navajo National Monument is a cool stop, BUT the picture you showed was of Monument Valley, about 50 miles from there, which is spectacular. Hope you made it through there because that area is amazing.

I’m sorry I didn’t read through all your comments but I tried. Please please please go back to Zion and hike Angeles Landing. It is the most spectacular hike you will ever do. I’ve recently found your channel and am newly obsessed. ( not crazy just a sweet old lady that has a passion for travel, hiking camping and adore seeing it virtually via you videos) .

"I didn't realize it snowed in the desert" - Two times I got seriously snowed in while traveling was in Arizona, around Flagstaff. It sits at the elevation of 6,900 ft (2,100 m).

The Grand Canyon is also created by water. The same river that runs thru the Horseshoe Bend....the mighty Colorado River.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an amazing experience it must be to trek thru these incredible landscapes. You both seem to have a great appreciation for the incredible uniqueness of the desert southwest as we call it. I live in the Pacific northwest of the US and it would amaze you at how different the coastal rain-forest are just two states away. We Americans are indeed fortunate to live among such diversity within our own borders.⭐⭐⭐⭐

Flash floods in the desert are quick and violent events. You were smart to get away.
