So, you just taught me two things I want to work on that I haven’t seen or noticed anyone else do. The way you tie your knots (looks like you feed a loop through to make it) and lifting the aider up to your foot while descending. Thanks for the vid!

The Cain method is better. Chris Cain and Joe Walling demonstrate it here on you tube.

Ron, I have since moved from the whoopie aider and came up with a different climbing system. Look up the swaider/knaider tutorial I posted here on youtube. Pete

Do you have a video detailing the construction? Length, components, etc?
@pkovago6 жыл бұрын
I do not. There are a lot of videos on whoopie slings. Any of them will work. I would say you want to work with a twelve foot length of rope. That should adjust from 5 feet or so down to less than a foot.

How high did you go and how many steps?

Don, I have modified this method. Take a look at the vids I posted today. I am getting five feet with each step. So I can get to twenty feet with four, then add another step to the top one for a platform.

I like to see it on a bigger tree. Because I like to climb bigger tree. Every demo I saw was on a small tree.

How about this? Slightly bigger. First time climbing it. It leans, has branches in the way and a split limb that I finish on. I tried to find a troublesome tree to climb. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bn3OdpeaedlkeaM
