Thank you it’s rare to see them before they are hybridized in to ornamental aquarium fish most get bread for coloring with other fish but this strain we are breeding to keep the genetic markers in tacked

PWs are getting harder to find so we are hopeful we can secure this strain as is about 30 fry in first clutch still to young to identify

I hope somebody keeps their original genetics so they can adapt for rehabilitation
@mattfish1992 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely they are an amazing species we focus on preservation of original genetic markers not reproduction so they are safe and well cared for .. later on in time we will have to eventually sell offspring to fund more projects but not before they are colonize to a substantial state hope you like our little clips we keep them short and try not to waist anyones time thanks for your feedback

In my opinion these are the most beautiful endlers. I’m not a fan of hybridized Endler guppy’s and more of a fan of what they were in the wild.

That seems like wild guppies in wild form. I might be wrong, but can you post wild guppy for comparison. Thanks

I’m sorry the strain has run it’s course with us it’s been donated to aquatic life preservation we have moved on to other species we are now stabilizing a mixed species ( parrot/convict)

Looks like a Cumana Endler with toned down markings. Probably just a blonde phenotype.

bro you absolutely did a good thing but i am not understanding that it is male or female because i also have this type of endler
@mattfish1992 Жыл бұрын
It’s a male .. most black bar endlers are capable of throwing this pattern but with this male he has never been hybridized so we use home to backcross genetics to secure the strain in the best form possible without disrupting the markers in it’s genus

These particular specimen was N class type 1-2nd generation wild endler this species is known as cumana poecila wingie and was here for conservation project this species is believed to be extinct in the wild and has been in captivity since 1980 we are very proud of the work we have done producing 500 offspring for future conservation efforts
