Damn! Mate! That's way back in there. Real Fishermen go where the fish are. My Father use to go river fishing. Taking a young son with him. We would walk along the bank for miles to go where no one went. Big pools deep with Rock bass and Smallies. Take very little gear and food and drink along. Try and get back to the truck before evening. This video took me back to a simpler time in the 60's and 70's fishing. My Father was a Outdoorsman for sure. Working and fishing and hunting. Being with friends is the key to having a great time. Sharing memories. 😊 Shawn from the States.

look at google maps and see if there are any tracks leading down or ask a farmer if you can go threw there property

@kurtispowers1147 The hardest bit is trying to figure out Nation Park tracks from private on google Maps.. I wanna do the right thing rather than be caught doing the wrong thing. But I agree, google Maps is awesome for research

You must know someone to get in there. That first big sandbank you came across was memorable for one early morning expedition where we came across a set of tracks that looked remarkably like big cat pads the size of my hand and very crisp. Nice spot..

Hi Dean, It was a privately owned property up until national parks took it over and then they locked the gates. Got a lot of good memories from down there. My mother's family owned a property nearby which is now national parks.. All good mate.

thanks for the feedback mate but this isn't private land mate. This is all public access and plenty of people fish down there

@DeanSilvester you are 100% on private property, national park on the side you had access but you crossed the river onto private land. sliding rock in background and your on the wrong side of the river. That's how spots like this get shut down.
