NOTE ON THE VIDEO: At some points in the video, you may notice that things look VERY blurry. This is not something that actually happens in the game when you're playing it on a TV or monitor. This blur is caused by KZbins awful compression which absolutely obliterates the videos bitrate. The game DOES indeed have some small parts that blur on purpose, which is explained in the video, but it does NOT look this pixelated or blurry when you actually play it for yourself. I just wanted to clear that up in case anyone was wondering why it looked so bad in certain sections of the video. Thanks for watching!

Great review as always. Was thinking about getting this, but too many games at the moment.

Thanks dude! Yea, I hear you on that one. I'm struggling to play it all at the moment! I do think its worth getting when you're looking for something to play. Thanks for watching the review!

The problem I face with these types of games is, I'm useless at them. In World I had to go with random people to take most things down. So I will be hesitant to play Hearts as I don't want to get my ass handed to me every time a beastie lays eyes on me. I noticed you said some monsters will be added free of charge, this is the same E.A I know as well right? Hearts does look good and a few patches will hopefully sort the weird blurry stuff out. I think sometimes a game that can stream line an experience isn't a bad thing at all whilst adding a unique spin on things. Awesome review as always buddy.

Well that's understandable dude, sometimes things just dont click for certain players. One thing I will say though, if you have constant internet access you can co-op VERY easily with randoms and its super fun to do so. I've killed a lot of the monsters solo sure but I find myself using the co-op feature a lot more as time goes on. When you start a hunt, you just press a button and it invites people in. They help you take down the monster and once the hunt's finished, everyone gets their loot and they leave automatically. Its quick, easy and fun so even if you do need the help, there's no shame in that at all. I hope you get around to giving it a try someday. This isnt a full EA release, its under their EA Originals banner where the devs kinda get to do their own thing (to an extent). They've said there will be lots of performance, quality of life and monster updates to come. They've already teased the first addition I think. I genuinely think its a great game and I only have minor issues, its well worth playing if you enjoyed MH World in any way. Cheers for watching as always sir, its always appreciated👍🏻😊

Id love to see you make a review of a game called Hidden dragon legend. But great review as always, keep up the good work 💪

I took a look at the game you mentioned and its definitely not my usual thing but I'll see what I can do! I have quite a few thing to play already and I obviously cant promise anything, but I may pick it up at somepoint. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks very much for watching my review😊

Seems like a good game, but I've heard about the technical issues, and I will have to wait. I've only played World and Rise, but I prefer World because it's actually slower, I like the pseudo-'sim' feel over the arcade, so I have a good idea about how much I'll enjoy this game. I'm glad the monsters were made difficult to sympathize with, lol. In World, i used to chase the weak ones and have my heart breaking all the while, start delving into some deep existentialism lol Now I won't need to worry about it xD

Hey man, hows things? I personally didnt really have many tech issues as I mentioned. A few frame drops and bit of blur, nothing bad. Also, you might notice that the video looks super blurry in general sometimes? That's not actually in the game, its KZbins crappy compression. It absolutely kills the bitrate of the video. On your actual TV or monitor it would look bright and clear. I know what you mean about the monsters but I've never really been bothered by it lol. Just because I know they aren't real I suppose? If you liked World though, this is absolutely worth playing when/if you can. Cheers for watching as always!👍🏻

This has nothing to with the video (great review as always, BTW) but a twisted part of me always want a game in this genre that you can sever other monster's part than it's tail. The hunt may ends abruptly when you manage to cut the head or you can take your time to sever all of it's limbs for extreme cruelty. I know such a game would be really problematic to say the least and will surely piss off a lot of people but then again...

Thanks for the kind words😁. I didn't show it in the video (I dont think) but you can cut tails and also cut/break other parts too. The monster that I'm fighting at 11:34 can have its tail thing cut off and have both horns at the front broken off (and possibly one other thing too). Its not exactly like what you mentioned but its not just tails. The giant boar (Kingtusk) can have his tail, tusks and spines broken off for another example. I dont see why the game you suggested couldnt exist, make it 18+/M rated and there you go. Its not like you're hunting real animals or anything lol. Its all just pixels and polygons! Anyway, thanks a lot for watching, I really do appreciate it as always!

is this game just a hack n slash or is it a role playing game adventure ?
@ConsolesOnlyGaming Жыл бұрын
Its a Monster Hunter style game. Its a little bit like a hack n slash mixed with some souls-like evasion. You go out into the world, hunt the monsters, use their parts to make better gear ands then hunt bigger monsters. Its an action-rpg but not really an adventure game. Hope that helps!

Is the game easy for new people
@ConsolesOnlyGaming Жыл бұрын
I wouldnt call it easy, it definitely takes a bit of practice to get familiar with it. Do you find souls games difficult? If so you might struggle a little bit with Wild Hearts in the beginning or Monster Hunter games in general for that matter. If you're willing to play the game and take some time to learn it, you'll probably be OK. Its not THAT difficult, it just takes a bit of time to get used to. By the time you get to the later monsters you should already have learned everything you need to be successful. I hope that helps in some small way😊

I think that's fair enough. I personally loved it but I absolutely respect your position on it. Thanks for watching!
