Hi, Marion! 💜 You’ve sent me to the internet again. I’ve been looking at images of stumpwork. It’s an amazing technique. Hey, I really admire your willingness to get the pansy just right, even if you have to make another petal. I totally got your explanation about where to put the long-and-short stitches. Your instructions along with the video images made it easy to follow. I know exactly what you’re doing even when it’s not so clear on the screen. I just love your channel. 💜💜💜

I can't wait for part 2 hehe, I have learnt something new again today from you, Thank you Marion.❤ You make me relaxed watching and listening to your calm voice, so I try to save your videos for when I need to have a rest, ( but I am not very patient ) then you fire me up for some more crafting 😅 I love your pansy so far and am really looking forwards to Saturday's extra video too 🤗 I have been making a few bracelets this week, but kept dropping them right when tying then off, 🤦‍♀️ and having to re thread all the beads again, but I persevered. Hi,again, from North Branch, MN. I haven’t thought of stumpwork in a long time. My mind is reeling with the possibilities. Your videos are my favorite of all the ones I have been keeping up with. Your world is a lot like mine but you get the job done where mine is all in my mind. I have a lot of projects that I am working on but they don’t seem to get done. 😂 I used to keep it all neat, but years ago just stopped. As long as I don't pull the threads tight I can get any colour out. The funny thing is... I used to unravel and wind my Grandma's threads when I was little. I'd spend hours winding each piece onto a little cardboard bobbin. Now.. I quite like the colours all together, even though I keep my main threads all wound beautifully 😊

No-one taught me to do this type of embroidery Michelle. My Mam taught me to sew and crochet, my Grandma taught me to knit and to do different embroidery stitches. I was probably about 6 or 7 years old. As I got to my teenage years I just wanted to learn how to do more. The library was my friend....every book on sewing , embroidery, all sorts of crafting. I taught myself as much as I could. And I've been learning ever since. The bonded fabric technique is something I learned just a few weeks ago. There is always something to find out about...!

Thinking about it. In the old days there wouldn't have been a choice. So I'll wait and see how it all looks at the end. Normally you can't see fabric. It may be I just didn't trim it close enough because I wasn't doing it through the magnifier and was being super careful....

Wow! I can’t wait either to see how you do the leaves 🤔. Although you have trimmed so close to the wire, you can still see a tiny edge of white fabric so could you colour it maybe with your inktense blocks?
