My ex father in law (session drummer) played for Dean, Frank and Sammy. He said Sammy was the nicest down to earth man in the business. He hated playing for him, he said "Sammy never new how to get off stage, he didnt want the show to end". He laughed and said he was the greatest talent

I watch this video often and what I appreciate most is his gracious manner. The combined entertainers today don’t possess a fraction of the the talent Mr Davis had and at the end of the song he thanked the audience for allowing him to entertain them.
