Classic Filipino Mom: always throwing your stuff before you even have a say on anything. But you know what Will and Haylie, I guess I learned how not to get overly attached on anything and anyone, and accept change quickly because of this. My mom threw away a bugs bunny stuff toy that was something like my "security blanket" growing up and suddenly I just cannot find it. Then it became clockwork: every toy I got attached to will be gone next year. I learned how to move on easily because of my mom, yeah. hahahaha Thanks Mom! Nice gift Will! I need that for my scoliosis...now if only I had space...

Yeap that’s I always tell my husband that We have everything we need . we have an annual holiday tradition to cut down a Christmas tree. We take a family road trip to the Roberts Tree Farm in Pollock Pines. Since our marriage, we've been going for 34 years. My wife and her beloved parents have gone for more than 55 years! Keep holiday traditions going. Oh BTW, we bundle up with layers of clothes to keep warm too! LOL! You guyz are so funny!

Your mom reminds me of our second cousins living in the states and when we were little. They used to send us clothes and toys in a balikbayan box. Most of our toys growing up were given by them and we only met them recently in person when they came to visit. My mom was preparing for a week for their visit. We do send our thank yous via letters back then.

My family stopped doing gifts too when we switched from Xmas to Hanukkah. Now that I'm older, I really appreciate what my parents did and I'm so thankful that we don't have to stress out with buying gifts for everyone during this time of year. I love Mudra's reaction to the mask over the Bluetooth speaker and inversion teeter thing. LOL! BTW, those inversion things are great! My parents have one and if I remember right, it also helps with the lymphatic system. I hope you guys see some great benefits from it.
