Expecting my Philly tomorrow. Brewing my first sour beer. Blaspberry fruited sour. (Raspberry and blackberry). Even if it's not traditional, it'll be a fun brew day.

@NorthernBrewerTV I picked up a couple 4.4lb bags of puree from fierce fruit. Hear great things about them! Had to cancel my brewday, but next weekend is a goooo! I'll be sure to come back and give my impressions and experience.

Have you been adding additional sugar to the cider before fermentation or just rocking the straight cider/juice? What is the flavor profile effect? Really eager to hear more about this.

@@NorthernBrewerTV some ive added some extra plain ol sugar to up the ABV, and some ive done with different things like Mulling Spices. It creates this lovely, crisp, just mouth puckery enough tartness that comes and goes quick, but you know it was there. It seems to make the apple flavor stand out a bit more too. The joy is in the experimenting.
