Wild card football. Is the funniest game? I played in a long time. I went in understanding that This is an arcade game. It did not disappoint me. The field is incredible. It feels like animations are not going to take over. Ball trajectory is incredible. You already stated it, you can't throw the ball into like triple coverages. This is A solid game. There's so much about this game that I can talk about. But it is incredible.

Another trash thing with madden is the news articles after games in superstar mode. I'll be whooping a team all 4 quarters 40-0 and it will always be like oh my team barely scratched out a win after coming back in the second half. And it's every news article in game that ruins it for me

I played both and wild card is better, just because of how you can level up your actual NFL players n earn loot boxes by playing the game, not paying the game. Mutant is fun too but the fact that I can play as all the NFL stars is what makes this better

Meanwhile, the Ravens were doing their real life Madden 24 impression. Now Clint has something to point to and say, "SEEE, it IS realistic!" Lamar starts off the game on fire, dropping dimes all over the field. Then all of a sudden his receivers forget how to catch the football. Bateman literally is wide open in the endzone and has a pass go through his hands. Agholor burns his man deep, pass comes over his shoulders, and right through is hands. Zay Flowers open deep, loses the ball, falls on his butt and pass falls incomplete. All in all, 7 dropped passes from his receivers. The OL forgot how to block. There was a blocked punt in the endzone for a safety. All of a sudden Lamar forgot how to throw the ball and throws a stupid pick in the endzone from about 5 yards out. Then he fumbles the ball again. Then he turfs the ball at Mark Andrews who was wide open with absolutely nobody near him on the last drive of the game. It was like honestly watching one of those "you're team is going to lose no matter what" scripts running in Madden. I've never seen anything like it.

Nah bruh this replaced Madden for me, with all the crap u gotta pay for in Madden, this is a fun arcady but simulation lite football game. there's a dream team mode where you can choose whatever NFL star you want on your team, n there's these packs u earn through leveling up, n u can level up your players the more you play with them. A great football game actually better than madden

This looks like a decent title for what it is. And that is a cartoony type arcade style football game. It isn't what I am looking for, especially since it features Colin Kaepernick front and center on the cover and with him being in the game. Not going to support anything that man is a part of. I don't care how great of a game it is. I am not looking for a cartoony, arcade version of football with whacky game breaking card deck mechanics. I want an actual alternative to Madden. A realistic as possible simulation of actual football with no stupid gimmicks or tricks or monetization. I am still running that Madden 08 for PC experiment, but the game is not very robust and I am having a lot of crashes, which slows down the progress I can make. I also have a lot of other projects in the works so it isn't my solitary focus right now. If you are looking for a fun for a little while, pick up and play, not serious football game, this is probably it for you. If you are looking for a current espn all pro 2k8 alternative to Madden, this isn't going to be it. From what I've seen of the game, this is a game that will be fun at first just because it is fresh and different. After a while, the novelty is going to wear off. It just isn't that deep of a game.

I mean the card system, gives a new experience every play, been hooked on this game, u can literally choose any NFL teams stars to be on ur dream team. You earn characters n cards n skins through loot boxes, that are earned through playing the game. Madden is a pay to win fest, and they do nothing to make next year's 70$ worth it. I'm glad a game like this is coming out to challenge the monopoly ea has on the NFL license. Just waiting for someone to challenge NBA 2k now

I don't care whether you have to pay for this mechanic or not, it isn't what I want in a football game. This game isn't football either. I am not saying Madden is good. I am saying this game is not a replacement for Madden.This game isn't going to challenge Madden at all. It isn't in the same sphere. Any stats in any of the offline modes? There’s been sooo many games in the past, arcade, sim, inbetween… most of them have offline stats. I dont get how a sports game like this can get created without offline stats. Arcade or not, shouldnt matter. They’re trying to “fortnite” this game by adding all the blingy “content”, downloadable season “pass” bs. When people start discovering there’s no stats, they will be running away from this crap.
