Wilderness Off Grid COZY Cabin Weekend

It is not finished, but this cabin already feels like the magical getaway of our dreams. The cozy wood stove and fuzzy duvet plus time with family and pets is more than I could ask for.
I camp and hike in and around the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. I’m also building and enjoying an off- grid cabin in the woods with my partner Cory and the kiddos Nora and Ethan! Are you going to continue working on the cabin through the winter? Maybe try putting some type of reflective material for all those windows (as you are loosing a lot of your heat), especially when your trying to warm it up. Insulating inside will help tremendously too. Great thinking closing up the space underneath 👍🏻

We will still go! Maybe I didn’t communicate it well, we will not be back for a while because of weekends filled with family events coming up. And I mentioned how tough it would be to get the tongue and groove and flooring back to the cabin in the winter… but we will absolutely still go in the winter. With or without fancy floors, and likely after the busy holidays ☺️.
