Ultimate Sin. Jake Lee. Period.
@brandondickie34562 жыл бұрын
@@michaelehrhart9670 yep. People say Ozzy got blown off stage by Metallica back then, and that might be true. But it wasn’t because ultimate sin was bad. Besides the mixing and the fact the lead singer and main figure of the ‘Ozzy’ show at that time was fresh out of the Betty Ford clinic, after missing the writing for the album because he was still in the clinic, and just was overall a mess, the album was amazing. I believe Daisley’s and Jake’s part of the album (everything except ‘shot in the dark’) aged a lot better than ‘shot in the dark’, and that’s not coincidence. They got blown off the stage because Master of puppets was/is something divine. There was NO competing with that.

I love and respect and miss the shit out of Randy, i really do... But keep on dreaming he was an other-worldly player, Jake s playing s from another planet, you're just a Randy s orphan as we all are, but too proud to say that Oz s best axeman s Jake, not Randy, and i feel you, but PHUCK u, Jake s got, objectively, the soul, the chops and the creativity granting him the upper hand. Only thing Randy s got on Jake, while with Ozzy, is his melodical crafting to compositions, but on solos and technique, Jake s waaaayyyyy ahead by his own right. Now, Randy s playing, had he stayed with us, would be, i bet, clearer and more melodically oriented, he picked up neoclassical heavy rock from what Blackmore left, and he d be an american perfect timing to save yourself era Michael Schenker before Schenker arriving to his McAuley Schenker Group days. Randy s style and playing was as formidable as it gets, but Jake was THE shredder humbler, bigtime. The most original and formidable axeman, in this style back then, period.

@@nathaninostroza7655 Between 1980 and 1984, before Yngwie made it big, i don't think there was anyone in Jake's league really, not even EVH himself, he was off the charts. And by the people in the business he was rightfully considered "the best guitarist in LA" at that point, confirmed by mister Greg Chaisson himself. I love Rhoads writing and what he created with Ozzy, Diary Of A Madman in particular is a masterpiece, but really just watch and hear the live performances of both guys, Jake is on another level technically and shred wise, much cleaner and more accurate player.

I’m only here for Jake too. Watching Jake one feels like you are watching a professional athlete showing how badass he is. I love how Jake puts his take on these fills. It’s so Jake. It catches me by surprise because it’s so much more heavy. Oz probably got fed up with everyone watching Jake and not him.

I was at this concert and as Jake start playing he blow my mind in so positive way hat off 🙏 His riff and pull of neck bend show how play whit out a tremolo! I started playing a Gibson les Paul 1978 and soon after this I swapped over to a 1959 stratocaster who I'm still own today! Master class....... Best regards from Sweden 🇸🇪

Hey, don't scroll down! There are some idiots arguing about who the best guitarist is instead of appreciating them and enjoying the beautiful music they each created!
