I have watched the documentary and really enjoyed watching. Black leopards are not very common in southern India. I would expect, north east India to have more black leopards than any other forests in India. Cooler tropical climate is the reason. However, Kenneth Anderson has written stories (his hunting experience) on black leopards in South India (Black Panther of Sivanipalli), so they do appear time to time in Southern India too.

I am glad that my next door neighbors India respect the black panthers and wildlife, here in Sri Lanka, the black panthers hold no value to most people. Hope Saaya and Cleopatra had i or 2 cubs and one of them have their father's genes.
