Just found you Simon. So pleased as I love wildlife and Scotland so this is perfect viewing for me. Lovely shots of the Hare and lovely to see the Scottish Highlands again. Used to trek around there alot in my younger days but can't do it anymore due to arthritis so looking forward to checking all your other videos. Thank you for doing what some cannot.

Hi Sharon, thank you very much for leaving me a comment and I'm glad you've found the channel. Scotland is a wonderful place and I just love being there - great place and people. I hope you enjoy the videos on the channel. I try and upload as much as I can but not always easy with the other projects I have underway but do intend on keeping more regular content being added. Thanks again and stay safe during these difficult times.

Great to see your awaited post Simon. Always a good watch, keep up the good work. Don’t feel under pressure to produce weekly content like all the other bloggers that feel they have to. One good thing about you is you always produce quality blogs and that’s what I enjoy is your own touch on your content 👍 until the next one. Regards Vince.

Great video as always, how far up the Findhorn valley were you? I live where the river Findhorn meets the sea in the moray firth. You might get pulled up for your pronunciation tho lol, it’s Fin dhorn if that’s makes sense. Did you manage to sea red squirrels too?

Cracking little video Simon. Lovely that you showed them off in their brown coats as well, they are such a lovely animal. How did you get on with no support for the camera. Was this purely to cut down weight climbing up the hill. Im up there next year and the thought of lugging a tripod is rather daunting.
@SimonWantling4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Max. Yes in my case it was to cut down weight as carrying all that gear and trying to vlog is pretty difficult at the best of times.

Hi Nick, thanks for your comment, really appreciate it. Scotland is a wonderful place. I'm heading up there soon but just getting over covid so thankfully it won't ruin my trip. Regarding the covers. @@SimonWantling Damn, I do hope you get better soon Dood. I'm planning on going to Braemar and set out from there (Glenshee) - I've yet to get a mountain hare in winter - but, as always, one eye on the weather ;) Ref the cover, I did actually find it and it was the LensCoat Raincoat - it's just that, as you pointed out, walking around Scotland at any time of year you 'could' get wet and having a cover that can be sealed at both ends is a boon - my current one does not. Thanks for your help though - take care. Nick
