This product and flash seal were great about 10 years ago, but now it’s really made poorly. I have used this on a crown and flash seal about 9 years ago and it’s held up very well in the north east weather. I’ve used it on multiple crowns and used flash seal multiple times in the past without issues. I did a job last year with crown seal and flash seal and it was cracking and pealing this year. It’s just overpriced garbage now. I will never trust these products again.

Is the product available in grey color? If not can it be painted grey?

Why not just use mortar like it's supposed to be? It only takes a few more minutes to mix a batch up.

NOT mortar! lol I just pulled a 10-year-old mortar crown off by hand this week. Concrete with expansion gaps/flex joints around the flues.

This stuff is garbage , it cracks. Take the crown off completely and relay a new crown. Do not use this crap.
