I really love the Georgian Bay footage. I wish you had more time to see and show more of it. Thanks for sharing.

We would have loved to see more of it. Unfortunately trying to get out before the winter didn't allow us to.

Sorry about the water cops giving you a fine. What a bummer. Too bad they don't have enough poachers to chase down that they hassle such sweet and considerate people. Damaging a wreck with a fiberglass sailboat! Give me a break.

Sailing would not be an adventure without these surprises. And we wouldn't have a story to tell. But we could have made without this experience.

When my mother came across the atlantic on a "steamer" (it was a while ago) They were told to start taking Gravol the day before leaving. like before it was possible to throw up the pill. Her story has always been that they were the only passengers that did not. Rough thing about the fine. I have only had to deal with that once for entering the wrong way on a one way street but we were lucky to be able to walk the officer to the point we had entered and show that there was no sign there... so no fine. Hope it works out.

We did notice that if we managed to give Coral a Gravol at least an hour it works great. Like you say then you don't throw it up before it's in your system. The fine was just because some people make money out of that area unfortunately. We tried to fight it but then we're told in pre trial that if we lost ( which seemed very probable) we'd end up having to pay much more than the initial fine. Such a shame

77 now, but did lots of diving in that area as a young man. Parents had a cottage in the area.

That's awesome. Did you get to dive that wreck?

Poor Coral hope you find a new remedy for sea sickness soon. Makes your travels more pleasant for all. Does it both our little sailor boy too Kai? I didn't know that you get a fine for parking in some places. Can get expensive..well put together. Didn't the dinky get lifted out of the water also but stayed in back. What a job when you have to put it right on the boat. Interesting video good job in showing the hardships of sailing sometimes can't wait for next week next week.😘⛵️🏖👨👩👧👦❤️💗💗

Glad you got to see many aspects of sailing. The Gravol at least an hour prior works great with Coral and Kai has a strong stomach luckily. We didn't actually drop anchor or "park" but only entered the area.

Anytime a government agency can make money they'll do it and it'll cost us way more to fight that little fight. Nice footage!

Thanks Alan. And you're so right we tried to fight it. But in pre trial we were told we'd most likely end up having to pay much more.

I wonder why it's called a fine? Seems to me it's never fine at all!😂🤣

Usually have to take Gravol an hour or two before you get underway taking it after you are sick doesn't always work
@WildlyIntrepid10 ай бұрын
That's what we've been noticing since then. It's been a game changer with her.

Aww, sad to see the seasickness. At least WI II still performing well. Your 'trespassing infraction' was obviously unintentional and a warning would have sufficed quite nicely? May the next crossing be gentler (on Coral), the anchorage more hospitable.

The park rangers were friendly and understanding but it seems like someone from the boat tours company might have influenced the outcome. Gravol prior to departure has changed Coral's life. And ours 😊
