You should enable variable layer height so the tops of curved objects like spheres come out way better.
@WildRoseBuilds5 ай бұрын
I used that on the final model in this video but had some weird under extrusion in places. More tuning required haha

Hi, it looks very great. I already have an Neptune Pro 4, but never get these results. Could you share setup data and program that you are using?
@coneman895 ай бұрын
can you share your N4P slicer and settings? Some of your prints are super clean! My N4P doesn't reach the same level even after tones of tweaking settings. Maybe worth doing an entire video on it?
@WildRoseBuilds5 ай бұрын
Im using the default N4pro profile in orca slicer. Orca slicer also has some built in calibration tests for flow rate, temp, and pressure advance that are super easy to queue up. But yes a new video on tuning sounds like a good idea!
@Motorbike_184 ай бұрын
@WildRoseBuilds a video on tuning would be super helpfull. About 75% of my prints fail.

I know nothing about 3d printing. I'm thinking of getting one. One thing I've noticed on some videos, there is a big rectangle being built in the back left corner of the print. Yours isn't doing that on this video. why? Are these big printed rectangles or towers inherent to some printers and not the one you're using? seems like a big waste of plastic.
@horizon4915 күн бұрын
the towers are for recording footage as someone told me
@vijaypanday729014 күн бұрын
I think you are talking about multicolor prints. If so, the tower in the back is so the printer can switch colors on that tower so your prints doesn't get effected by the color change.
@Littlebrownchicken2 күн бұрын
They are so the printer has a place to go to so the time lapse looks better. It doesn’t happen in real life unless you use a Bambu with the multicolor, in which case, it’s called a purge tower so the printer can “wipe” itself so there is less material mixing.
