Great band , in 92 it was to late for this type of music. If they realised this album 2 years before they can be bigger. Great catchy melodies super vocals - like them so much. Hi from Russia everybody. Heavy metall and Rock rules!

For years I couldn't remember name of song or band, just the awesome intro & visual style, down to the white bass guitar! I'm from Guatemala in Central America so it was impossible to find non-platinum albums. Today, my mom flew in from Guate & brought me a notebook where I had written down a list of all videoclips I recorded into VHS from MTV's HB. As I read down hundreds of pages (each VHS stored six hours of mv's & I recorded them all!!!) I finally saw Wildside, HOL & I knew, this was it!!

Got this gem when it was first out. Wildside were 2 years two late on the scene. I hear a terrific mix of Motley, Skid, Roses and Ratt. They had more than just this song, the rest are great as well, this song is far from their best. "How many lies" and "so far away" are even more awesome. Lets not forget about the awesome debut by Sven Gali when we are name dropping bands. For me this world still exist. I have a big record/cd collection of just "street metal" as i call it. Rock on!

Awesome timeless song. it was bands like this that fuel my passion for Rock still when the industry changed. still to this day I listen to bands like this. I was never a follower of just the big bands. I always needed my passion for Rock feed by the bands that just made Kick Ass music.

I wish bands like this one , Tora Tora , XYZ among many others had stayed and shaped the sound of the 90´s , we´d have some great quality music until today ...
@KenLeet10 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. There were several bands that hit the scene in '89-91 (Trixter, Wildside, The Storm) to name a few, that should have been given a better chance, instead of being shelved for dirtball bands wearing dirty clothes and looking like they hadn't seen a shower since the mid eighties!
@Phoenix_VanDerWeyden10 жыл бұрын
Couldn´t agree more with you , the 90´s were heading a new direction for Hard Rock and Heavy Metal , too bad the record companies decided it was time for the 3 chord people to shine ... at least now there´s an underground movement for this type of music in Europe , let´s see what future holds :)

heres an easy how to guide when on a date: get her to talk about herself as much as possible, when she wants to know 1 thing about you answer her then pose the same question to her, do this as much as you can get her to talk about herself/ family and friends as much as possible. by the end of the date she will feel that she knows you well even though u havent said much about urself. she will also feel that ur a good lisener (like someone with compassion and true intrest in her), next is bed time

Hell yeah!!! Bought this back in '92 ( never gave a shit about the gansta rap & grunge scene, and I still don't because I know what sounds good to my ears ). I think in a 3 month period I purchased this, and I also bought, Saints & Sinners, "Salute" by 21 Guns, "Double Eclipse" from Hardline, "Fire & Ice" by Yngwie, Tall Stories, "Keep the Faith" by Bon Jovi, "Time to Burn" by Giant, Von Groove, "Revenge" by KISS, Unruly Child, "Fear of the Dark" from Iron Maiden, "Hear" by Trixter, "Wild America" by Tora Tora, Heavy Bones, and Jackyl's debut.....plus quite a few others. Seen Wildside live in Colorado Springs ( met them after the show ), great guys. Long live true rock everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The shame is these guys got praised for being the next big thing by Capitol in 1991, got a contract with big money for five albums and released their first album in 1992 when grunge was just around the edge, it sold bad and they got kicked from Capitol. Great song and album. I've been thinking about hard rock bands (like WildSide and T-Ride) that released albums around '91 or '92 that fell under the radar, because of timing, label issues, etc., and should get another chance to shine. Or maybe WildSide was done in by the cost of the fans required to blow all the guys' hair in this video. (I kid, I kid!) But I associate this music with some actual good times in my adolescence. Thanks for sharing!

Massively underrated band, like Love/Hate. Love the singer's voice. Great musicianship. For me this is easily up there with Out of the Cellar, Dr. Feelgood, Appetite for Destruction. lol, look at the early pictures of Wildside, they were almost as glam as they came back in the day. When the music scene changed around 91-92, the band sorta stripped down their image and even their sound a little. Regardless, they were an amazing band, still listen to them to this day.
