Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Saving frogs and all amphibians is as important as saving and documenting jaguars. I applaud all the efforts this team and all the other scientific teams put forth; they strive to make huge differences. Everything has a role in nature.

I can't imagine no frogs. I live in southern Indiana and there is swampland beside our home. In the spring, it is so loud at night from the frogs, you almost can't tolerate the noise and we have to go back to the house. Growing up as farmers, Dad always taught us the health of our land was predicted by the frogs. What a tragic loss for Costa Rica.

Hallo Ronnie! I have the feeling, that we are 'of one mind', as far as the safety of incredible animals, such as jaguars, leopards, lions, tigers, etc are concerned! People have, due to overpopulation or 'lack of respect of their right on this world', unfortunately encroached into 'wildlife territory', that has existed for centuries! We're dealing with incredible wild animals, whose 'normal hunting grounds' have been reduced by man, and then 'complained about', when they, naturally, try to 'reclaim their lost territory'!

the frogs were related because new bacteria threatens the frogs as well as the jaguars... Jaguars are just harder to catch on camera.

I saw a large cat that was black on its front and rear quarters, black on its back from its head to tail and the sides of it's back. It's chest and groin area was yellow with splotches of black! I was within 100 yards of it! It was a large cat! Any thoughts on what kind it could have been?
