Wild Woman Bushcraft the engine block shakes the starter and it almost fell over twice, it could disconnect wires or hoses if this happens or the wires going to battery can come loose when it falls and possibly end up in fan blades near front. Place on ground or backpack, stool, or wood stump beside car that battery is on, then connect it from side of car with starter sitting on top of your backpack, stool or chunk of wood, or get a kids folding chair you keep in trunk just for starter. Your amazing and beautiful and your instincts about men in the bush is telling you to be safer, so how about we go out with friends or BF for now on in areas you think your not alone. 5 watt burning laser works good in bush and a,so for blinding an attacker, a gun works too but I don't think you would want a gun, so a laser is best as a 5 watt in a human eye instantly blinds in a nanosecond, let alone a few seconds and it can go for miles and be seen for miles. Also point it at trail cams and they won't see anything except the blue laser colour and you walk right by. Much Love and God Bless

(most vehicle 12 volt batteries get 4 to 6 years lifespan). even have someone check the water level is topped off in each 6 cells on top of the battery through caps using distilled water...& on cold days oil is thicker and metal engine parts contract using more Cold Cranking Amps to start. if you don't have voltage gauge on your dash cluster, check battery voltage with multimeter engine not running should be close to 12 volts. and with engine is running check battery with meter it should be 14.5 to 16 volts to know if alternator/generator is good or not. or with our older vehicles with the car running, we would loosen the ground terminal on the battery and take it off while engine running. if the engine stalled then the alternator has a bad diode/s or loose belt. anywho love how clear your videos are & your alien glowing watch is sweet...Have a lovely evening Ms. Vanessa

Being a videographer is hard work isn’t it? I use to be a film maker and just could not keep the funds coming in. I wanted to make short features but even those are expensive. Plus no one wanted to invest or distribute my finished product so here I sit with a studio full of equipment and well I’m watching you. And I enjoy watching you. It’s so peaceful and it reminds me of my time in Germany 🇩🇪 and Bavaria and how much I loved the country and culture. I wish we would have stayed bc I started speaking German very well...we had a maid and she only spoke German and she stayed with me and I loved her. She took me shopping and would always stop at the sweet shop and buy me Gummi bears...and she loved chocolate. What a great time in my life. They show the world in such a beautiful way , the soundtrack being the sounds of nature or your honest voice (with a great accent and really good English ) or the silence of a misty morning . You become a part of each place you visit and then leave with no trace of the communion with it , but for a gift for it and then the camera shots that look like Lord of the rings for the world to enjoy! The plant descriptions you give are invaluable for the next generations to learn from and then you go and design your own knife?? Marvel inc should be calling you soon. Hi there Vanessa .. Now that was a lovely Monday surprise 👍😊. The word that you were looking for was the sound ('crunching') of the fresh snow under your boots .. I love it also. Your new watch has a very nice display .. simple but effective to read and not too bright. May it give you many years of pleasure and good service 👍. Sometimes our little friends 🐕 hear and see things that we do not 😨 .. but then, they can also 'imagine' things .. just like us 😊. The tent seems so far, to be very nice. 'Ultralight' always has it's compromises .. but then .. it's the Outdoors and not the Hotel California 😉. And that Honey / Nut Crunch looked delicious .. I must try it sometime. It's good for the inner Soul to always give something back to the Forest Spirits .. nice 👍. Car trouble .. Aaargh 😣. Vanessa, if it is a new battery and you did not accidently leave a light (or something) on when you parked the car, perhaps you should go to a good Auto-Electrician (cheaper $$$ than the Vehicle Agents) and have them check if there not something (a connection or 'short') that is causing the battery to 'discharge' when the car is switched off. Just something to perhaps consider .. batteries are expensive 😟. Must go .. I have Sunday's leftover home-made Pizza in the microwave .. Yummy 😊. Until next time .. please take care my friend 👃👂👀 .. LG .. Tommy

I always find it a special privilege to join you on a trip into the forest or mountains. Nice reflector/screen, although with damp wood I'd build it a bit further from the fire and prop fresh firewood upright against it all round, using it in rotation so that you always use the driest pieces, and putting fresh ones in their place. That breakfast bar looks delicious, as well as nutritional. That trail camera looked like a monstrosity - most I've seen are small and easily camouflaged. The car not starting is a nuisance, but shouldn't be terminal. The fact that it took a jump-start so readily shows it is fundamentally sound, even though it does have a minor electrical fault. Any half-competent auto electrician or decent mechanic should be able to trace why your new battery is not holding it's charge, with little more than a multi-meter. If you have such a meter, I could even direct you in doing so myself, having run a variety of older vehicles in my time, on which things like corroded connections were a fact of life - at least with older cars they were correspondingly simpler, so such fault-finding was less time consuming. All those handy accessories like GPS come at a price! The same methods still work though, as the laws of physics still apply. In my case, the most time consuming to trace was a faulty switch on the boot(trunk) lid - I mean, who climbs in to make sure the light goes out when the lid is closed? I eventually traced that one when we had a frost, and although most of the car was covered, the boot (or trunk to Americans) remained suspiciously frost-free! I'd already started removing the lighting circuit fuse when the car was parked overnight (as a work-around), but for some reeason neglected to that night. It didn't even cost for a new switch, as it was just stuck, and freed up easily with a bit of spray lubricant. The worst-case scenario is finding which fuse or relay carries the parasitic load and removing it if the car is not going to be used for longer than a few minutes - if the fault is buried deep inside the dashboard, on modern cars with lots of on-board electronics that may be far easier than a complete fix. Do check before disconnecting the battery that you have the security code for anything like in car entertainment systems, as you may need to re-enter those.

Those sneaky hunters - especially with baiting wildlife. Sorry to see that your car would not start; thank goodness you had a backup!! Sounds like a charging system problem if the battery was just replaced. Newer cars use a computer controlled alternator, so you must read the malfunction codes (MIL) coming from the OBD II test port to completely diagnose the problem. Any well equipped mechanic or shop can do this for you.

Your Audi engine sounds great. Your "new" battery may be defective. Check this by disconnecting a battery cable overnight. Then reconnect (the next day) and see how it starts. It's more likely that you have an issue with the charging system, though. And it could be something as simple as a loose connection. Your little dog was anxious for you to get that morning fire lit 😀. Your breakfast looked tasty!

you don't necessarily need a new car just due to a frequent dead battery, check the output voltage of the battery when it is running, it should be approximately 14DCV and if not then the alternator (generator component) is most likely bad, if the voltage is good when running then the cause of a dead battery after sitting idle is most likely a small short in the electrical system that is draining the battery voltage down, and a good automotive shop can pin point the problem.
