I'm Zillowed all over that area and think I remember when this one came up on the ,market. Very cool place and couldn't be in a prettier area. Really interested in watching this one come along! I think not knowing every nook and cranny about a house can be a good thing sometimes when you want to flip something. Sounds counterintuitive, but taking a leap of faith and getting onto a project like this pays off the biggest dividend. Easy to get scared off.

@@kyles5513 Yes, Leon can be the star of the show sometimes. They used to feature Chuckie a lot at one point, but lately not very much about any of the dogs. At one point, the young black one was absent from their videos so much, that I sometimes wondered if he was even still around. I have even forgotten one of the little guy's names. One is Frankie.

Sorry to hear that Chuck has passed. I lost my buddy about a month and a half ago his name was romer and he weighed 5 lb he had seizures his entire life and we had to give him medication but he had a good life. Now they're both in doggy heaven again sorry for chuck being gone.

We wanted to do that but it’s not looking like it will fit into the budget. There are too many serious renovations that a lot of the budget is going to like jacking up the roof, jacking up the floors, adding new rafters, new floor joists, new roof etc.

This brings back memories of when I used to do real estate clean up. Throwing away all the junk the previous owners just left behind, sometimes it could be REALLY nasty. Also the inside of the house doesn't look that horrible honestly, the layout is a little weird but the inside looks like it's in good condition.

It looks very 1980s decor but with some previous experience my guess is the original owner has probably sadly passed away now and the house went to probate.

I was going to say the same. If the owners family don’t live nearby, they may have only came and got some personal effects. A lot of times, a potential buyer can state they will take care of cleanup of any remaining items to help the family trying to finalize the sale.

Oh Kay, lots of questions. I saw on an overhead shot that there does not seem to have a driveway or garage; what do you have planned for the "landscaping"? Also, is this place targeted as a "weekend getaway" place or more as a "full time residence"? What does the basement look like? I see what looks like electric baseboard heating; what are you looking at for HVAC work? It does remind me of our first house; a "1902" 2 bedroom with some of the same issues (floors, walls, wiring, yada, yada, yada), and a lot of surprises.

You truly are incredible and amazing. When I was your children’s age I helped my dad do real estate renovations like you are starting with this one. Wish I could be by your side in working with you with this renovation being it’s truly a joy to look back after completion and saying to ourselves how nice it now looks and that we did this ourselves. I sold my business and became a full time Mr. Mom to my infant daughter and now 22 years later my only thought for pause is that I didn't devote a little more time to my retirement. To have your children at your side as you work on projects is second only to maybe vacationing or nurturing with them but Erin and Josh have got that covered! I knew parents who could not wait for their "Friday night babysitter" to get away from their kids. I pity them.
