The fact that you're taking it upon yourself to carry on Paul's legacy here on KZbin to whatever degree you choose is an honor to Paul and to all of us, and you're already doing a good job bringing the core of what made his videos so good: clear, concise and practical firearm education from someone with real world experience. I'm happy to see what Roy has to teach us and I'm certain Roy has interesting anecdotes of his own to share, so just be Roy and everything will be alright.

Paul, if you happen to see this: I use an exercise when training my teams where in one section you have to list 5 modern day hero's that exemplify characteristics you aspire to improve/gain/acquire. You have been on my list for several years and many of my trainees have added your name to their list as well (after learning of you from my list). Just to be clear, I consider you a hero and I am operating under the following definition of the term: a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. In my life, and the lives of many people close to me, you are considered a hero. I will never forget the impact your channel, your demeanor, your humor, your skill, your history, and your objectivity have had for me. Thank you.

Paul, I just started carrying at the age of 18 which is legal in my state, your videos have taught me more than most paid classes have, and the training methods I use I have borrowed from some of your videos. I am writing this to let you know that even if you do pass soon, your KZbin videos will continue to help train and inspire the next generations of young people growing up in a increasingly anti-gun culture. Out of all the guntubers on KZbin I find your videos to be the most professional and informative with no bullshit or clickbait.

At my agency years ago we were issued S&W 1066 weapons. As 10mm was very expensive, we always trained with 40 S&W...never experienced any malfunctions or hazards in doing same. Good job picking up the channel for Paul...you exemplify the same class in your presentation as your brother and I'm certain he appreciates that. Your family is in my prayers.

As long as prayer is involved, no bad can come. There are times we do not see the immediate results we think are best. That does not mean the best thing is not turning out. Pray without ceasing for this is the will of God, in Christ Jesus concerning you. If Jesus decides to call your daughter and Paul home, rest assured they are there and we will see them on the other side. I know it hurts, we are all headed there. While here, fight the good fight. God bless all…

Great video Roy!!! I honestly didn't believe a .40 S&W would work in a 10mm chamber due to the length difference. As far as group size? Looked good to me! Thank you for taking the time to put a video together. Wishing and praying for the best for the Harrell clan.

Most semi auto pistols are 'controlled round feed' like a Mauser, so the extractor grabs the rim as its ramping up into the chamber. The extractor holds the round so the firing pin can be struck. Depending on the particular model the recoil spring might not allow 40 cal to cycle, but I think most 10mms are sprung a bit light.

Excellent video. If Paul or anybody else has done a .40 in 10mm, I missed it. Not having either, I never thought about it. It's similar to practicing with .38 special in your .357 magnum firearm. I say similar because you might not have the cost/availability advantage with the .40 that you do with .38 special. Otherwise, it's the same principal. Again, great video. Also Roy, your groups were as good as Paul's. I'd bet most people regular to this channel know that location can result from factors other than your shooting...as you know. I learned that here, by the way.

Please, I implore you Sir, do not skip covering your thoughts on current 2A issues, Bills and Resolutions, New and "Improved" firearms and the like. We would absolutely LOVE to hear some comical and not so humorous stories of y'all growing up together, some stories of prosperous victories, and crushing defeats, tell us about that will to continue and learn and share a little of that resolve and stiff upper lip I know damn well you both share. Just ordered my Paul Harrell shirt and couldn't be prouder of you and the Team here. Tho I've never had the pleasure to meet and shake you, nor your highly Respected and Loved Brother's hand, I can't help but feel like I know y'all a little and just wanted to share we are praying daily for you and the Family.
