Will a DURAMAX Diesel REMOTE Start in the COLD?! 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.6L Cold Start

Day 3 of starting it in freezing temps. If yall saw my first video, my truck didn’t start because of some weak batteries. I haven’t charged them yet, but they have been holding up the past couple of days.
Been trying random things to give everyone real life examples and data with a new truck. As you can see, remote start doesn’t work, but starting it inside with the button starts it up pretty much right away.
On day 1, I did try to app start it, which may have made the battery weak. With that being said, I would make sure you keep accessories unplugged and only try to start your truck using the button in the car during cold days. This should ensure a guaranteed start every time.

Crazy how the remote start didn’t work. Wasn’t that the whole idea behind it so you don’t have to go out in the cold. Once you get the gremlins ironed out you should have a great truck. Nice Lamborghini

In cold weather my vehicles don’t like to remote start, this is no surprise to me

My 2015 did the same thing. I had to replace my batteries not long after that.

That’s promising to hear!! So many stories like this I hear, which makes me disappointed in my truck. I am fairly certain it’s a battery issue. Does yours remote start at -40?

@@tunerworld -40C and -40F are the same temperature and yes it remote starts at that temp. It doesn't love it, but it starts lol.
