Since ChatGPT was released, the digital marketing world has lost its collective mind!
With many people predicting that ChatGPT will replace Google search.
That would obviously be a terrible development for Google advertisers.
Google responded very quickly with Bard and that hasn't been received all that well so far.
In this video I explain what is actually likely to happen to Google search and Google advertisers and how both ChatGPT and Bard play a role.

If I am looking to buy a product or service, I would use google not chatGPT, so this is the important part. people will still use google to search for services and products

Question: Should i make a separate ad group for "niche+near me" keywords and put "near you" in the ad copies? or can i just put them in the same adgroup with the "niche+city" ad group?

The better results will likely come from separating those out into another ad group

I asked both ChatGPT+ and Bard a physics question that requires a good understanding of mathematics and history to get the right answer. The question was, "Is the Ricci tensor zero in the Schwarzschild metric?" You might think that ChatGPT+ would give the correct answer, but it didn't. Bard, on the other hand, gave the correct answer, which is yes, the Ricci tensor is zero in the Schwarzschild metric. Only GPT-4 gave a more detailed answer. It explained that the Schwarzschild metric is a solution to Einstein's field equations that describes the gravitational field outside a spherical mass. The Ricci tensor is a measure of the curvature of spacetime, and it is zero in the Schwarzschild metric because there is no mass outside the spherical mass. Overall, ChatGPT+ seems to be better at answering general knowledge questions, while Bard seems to be better at answering more technical questions
