"When you end a turn with unspent energy, 25% chance to HULK OUT! for each point of unspent energy." would still be RNG, but you could "pay" a total of 6 energy to guarantee a Hulk (2 cost to play Banner, then end turn with 4 energy remaining)

I don't care about RNG or counters. Bruce is gonna be a fun card and has great flavor with his effect. Red Guardian counters damn near everything so that's not saying much. He's been shutting down Doom 2099 with USAgent. I'm stoked to try him out!

I wonder if the thing that changed that made them rollout the 1,000 => 2,000 token change was just them waiting to see what effect the releases of Pokemon Pocket and Marvel Rivals would have on the player base and the plan was to continue to do nothing if they didn't see a significant drop in player engagement.

so where is the High Evo buff? the card recieved only nerfs, in 2 separate OTAs, and came out in summer 2022. They said some time ago that they planned a buff, but only gave +2 to the dead card that you would't play anyway. Make Evo great again and reverse the nerfs (maybe keep current Hulk)

White Queen needs to do something beyond just copying your opponents card into your hand. She should either steal a card, maybe take the lowest cost and add it to your board? Maybe she can allow you to see your opponents hand?

White Queen should just have Aero stats: 5/10 - big body that lets you potentially copy or at least know your opponents turn 6 play.

The token spotlight change is about a 9.6% increase in the ev of single card caches. I think that's a pretty big boost

Getting tokens off the spotlight is not a total whiff, because its the main way of getting tokens in the first place, and token shop > spotlights. Sure, its not enough, but its not a total whiff. The other ways to get tokens are almost insignificant. The spotlight variants are a TOTAL whiff.

@KMbest I think you may have it backwards about the 4th spotlight cache going up to 2,000 tokens. I think they may now be too good. If every week was 1 new card + 3 random cards/2k tokens, I would take that over what we have in a second. It would also put an end to 4-banging in the keys, because if I get 6,000 tokens with 3 keys, I can just buy the new card. Spotlight weeks now have 1 new card plus two cards that are old as shit or have been nerfed or powercrept, and 1 random card/2000 tokens. I'm crossing my fingers for the 2,000 tokens.

I think High Evo should be a Pool 3 card, because new players have all the cards he buffs from the starting pools and can "upgrade" and use them in a cool new way. Maybe someone reads this, and will think about it ;) Edit: I play a mix of Asgard Hammers and Doom2099 to have the option to go tall with BetaRay + Odin/Wong or play Wong-Dr.Doom for more Power than a normal Doombot2099 on the last turn. the 4 cards per 9 caches is somewhat of a potential problem for series 3 complete players, since it's going from 2 boxes of 50% tokens to 4 boxes of 25% tokens. It's possible to highroll tokens, but it's also possible to lowroll tokens and have less tokens than before the change. It introduces a TON of variance to resources for f2p players.

I agree that, to the extent the 2K token change is encouraging, it’s because it indicates that the devs care at least a little about player sentiment about the economy. The amount of extra tokens the average player gets from the change in the period btwn now and when they roll out their bigger economy rework isn’t going to be huge, but the fact that they wanted to do something to bridge the gap at all feels like a different attitude than we’ve been seeing for the last couple years.

Bruce seems like a card that is both terrible to play and terrible to play against. I can see several games where the gamblers of Marvel Snap just stay on a game that could be won or lost with a HULK OUT.

Getting 2000 Tokens feels bad, because I would have gotten a Series 4 card (66% 3000 Tokens) or Series 5 card (33% 6000 Tokens), which equals mathematically 4000 Tokens. And just because I already have the card I get a fourth of the value, soon half of the value.

You guys are comparing average number of doom2099 vs move bounce that pops. First of all even KM said that he lost like 150 points playing move bounce because its so hard. Second - move deck bricks a lot when you dont have your scalers in hand, and that happens very often. Third - when doom2099 deck pops its 30+ power in all locations not 20 you guys. Surtur cant catch up, wiccan either. Doom 2099 is at least second best archetype and it is the easiest to play and very consistent

No way you get 30+ power in all lanes. I rarely seen that in D2099 decks. Not even Tribunal can pull that off on a regular base. And besides, D2099 is way to easy to counter to be a very good card. Its pretty much a dummies card like Km said…😎😁
