Will EASTERN ST THOMAS Road Stand Up To This Hurricane Season With All This Rain?

There will be water on the road when the rain is falling. It is really a question of how quickly it runs off when the rain slows down. The water management on the Kingston to Ocho Rios Highway seems to work well. I have seen some really dangerous water on the road when driving in Florida. Not very deep, but bad enough to cause accidents. Port Morant is a special case. I am curious to see what CHEC will do there.

chec need to tilt the road on one side and put in bigger storm drains to prevent those road floodings

Came to St. Thomas today and went to Portland. Wasn’t pleased with the condition of the surface along the stretch at Jamintel. Just too many cracks as if it wasn’t rolled properly and the asphalt not high enough
