Will fasting heal the gut? Ulcerative Colitis fasting
In this video I discuss whether or not fasting is beneficial when attempting to heal gut inflammation. I talk about the different forms of fasting, from intermittent to prolonged fasting and give my honest opinion on the subject. I have been a sufferer of Ulcerative Colitis for almost 6 years and in that time have researched and experimented with lots of methods to improve my health. Find out in this video whether I found relief of my chronic symptoms through fasting.

1.) THE INTESTINAL CELL WALL REGENERATES EVERY 9-10 DAYS. SO GO FOR AN 11 DAY DRY FAST. 2.) BCP-157 INJECTIONS KNOWN AS WOLVERINE FORMULA IS USED TO HEAL THE GUT LINING AT AN ACCELERRATED RATE. 3.) KPV INJECTIONS INHIBIT THE CYTOKINES FROM CAUSING INFLAMMATION WITHIN THE GUT. THESE ARE A MORE EFFECTIVE AND SAFER FORM OF BIOLOGIC INFUSION INECTIONS 4.) ONCE YOU GO BACK TO EATING AND DRINKING I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND THE RAW ORGANIC GRASS FED 4 DAY ROTATIONAL CARNIVORE DIET. I HAD THE MOST SEVERE ULCERATIVE COLITIS AND LEAKY GUT EVER SEEN BY MY DOCTORS AND THEY SAID IT LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE THREW A GRENADE UP MY ASS. GO FOR ORGAN MEATS, SALMON AND SHELL FISH FOR HIGH NUTRIENT DENSE PROTEIN. YOU DON'T NEED MUCH PROTEIN (0.5G-0.7G PER LEAN LBS OF BODY MASS). BUY FROM AMISH FARMS FOR THE BEST QUALITY. 5.) REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER FOR PURE H2O. ONCE YOUR STOOL HAS NORMALIZED FOR ABOUT A MONTH IT'S SAFE TO START TRYING THINGS LIKE FRUIT, SWEET POTATOES, AND SQUASH. MAKE SURE TO EAT MONO MEALS OF ONE FRUIT FIRST THING IN THE MORNING. NEVER MIX CARBS WITH YOU MEATS. AD

Thanks, good info. Yeah, fasting can be a double-edged sword. In my experience, one needs to be properly nourished to undergo a successful prolonged fast. In my ignorant vegan days, I felt absolutely awful trying to fast longer than 48 hours. Now I do 72's and 96's easily while training hard and going through my normal activities. Before a fast I eat a lot of nutrient dense foods, like liver and oily fish. It makes all the difference for me. And I would not recommend longer fasts (more than 7 days) unless one already has experience with 2-7 day fasts. After the 7 to 10 day mark there is a shift in the body, and for many continuing the fast can do a lot more harm than good. My hypothesis is that the microbiome starts to suffer and that the nutrient reserves get depleted. IMO, if one is sick and wants to use fasting to heal, it's better to do a 3 to 5 day fast, then renourish the body with nutrient dense foods for about the same time as the fast before repeating the process. Cheers man:)

I have been fighting MS for about 14 yrs. I have been eating nothing but meat and eggs since Jan. 1. I fast no less than 20 hrs a day and 44 hrs straight, after 2 eating days. I eat grass fed products raw & store bought meat and organs cooked and pink salt on everything. I have been dreaming & sleeping great. My mood and energy is changing. I eat lot of grass fed butter and eggs.

@@Apricot90 Nah not really, flesh and flesh dont really abrase each other, besides, if you chew properly, your stomach acid will dissolve meat quite easily. Its the undigested things you see in your dump that you need to be worrried about. sweetcorn, nuts, tomatoe skins, also sugar is a big one. If it rots your teeth and causes gum disease imagine what its doing to your gut.

2:34 - not really, depends on how fat you are. If you have some or a lot of fat on you, you are not really starving. To be more precise, it is impossible to starve when you are fat or obese. 3:20 - this can't be further from the truth. When you are fasting, your body is using its own reserves or will break down protein and fat to get vitamins and minerals. This is exactly why people who fasted for 30+ days have no deficiencies shown in the blood. 3:30 - or there are people who have more reserves and body fat than others. If you are fat you can fast longer without side effects, if you are skinny you can't do that.

I think you should look at the results of people who have done long fasts rather than share your opinion on something you haven't even tried. Body fat is food. Look at vegetable police's long fast at his lean body weight, no issues and he remained muscle sparing, he only messed up due to going plain water and his refeed. You prefaced this with how its your opinion and that's fine but you are talking about something you know nothing about, its just speculation, do some research. I used to think the exact same thing as you do, fear of deficiencies and muscle loss especially being lean, but I went ahead and tried it and my psoriasis started healing after 3 days and I retained my muscle. You shouldn't deter people away from the amazing benefits of prolonged fast, you just need to be smart before going into it and get your salts.
