I can see 5 reasons why he was suspicious. 1) the house you go to are never messy or lived in looking. Sure they can be rich and afford cleaning but having a flannel shirt on a chair or maybe having magnets on the fridge or even one of the cringy decorations for a house qould have done wonders in making it look not rented out. 2) no noise upstairs of working or talking. The longer it went on, the more weird it was to not see or hear anyone. They should have had laughing happening suddenly or something that made it seem more legit a workplace rather than a set. 3) usually the girlfriend is out of the house while the stage is going. You guys could have said all the bathrooms are not plugged into the plumbing and she needed to use one down the street. It would have been more believable and make the idea of a new fresh looking house a more platable idea. 4) the secretary did no secretary work. She should have had a laptop nearby that she was tapping on or her taking calls and frequently looking at Jordan's interviewee. 5) Since it was a 'professional setting' just asking for his number/insta was enough for the first phase. I think you guys going for the big houses and such for the first phase is potentially a waste of your money since some fail in the first half and in general most interviews happen at like coffee shops or places people can leave easily. You guys used to take more time with your tests which i can agree is more work because of how many variables that could go wrong but having everything at once doesnt work for some people's partners. Still love the show though, always interesting to see what new issues arise and how people react

I think the test came on too strong, too fast. The dude seemed like a more reserved, awkward kinda guy anyway... and Violet just jumped in and went as far as asking him to film sexy, private stuff. I think the test would've gone COMPLETELY different if it was more simple. The tests need to change based on the person being tested. She could've just asked him for his phone number in a flrty, cute way and asked if he could teach her cinematography on their free time. Then, enter phase two where they're alone and he is more comfortable. Not all tests have to be so extreme with this "help me film OF" stuff- cheating is cheating even in the simplest of ways such as going on a date and keeping it from your S.O, etc.
