@@GladDestronger even gorillas can be smart. Koko the gorilla spoke fluent sign language. (Forgot his name) a silverback gorilla was taught to speak 500 words im sign language and he explained his mothers death and how she was murdered infront of his eyes. It is spectacular and sad to watch him express his emotions. Escpecilaly when he emphasized 'cry'

@stevefowler3398
@stevefowler3398 2 жыл бұрын
Those are very minor impacts on the population. The greatest is deforestation. I have been to Borneo many times, and on each successive visit, I am depressed to see how much jungle has been cut down in order to grow palm trees. The palm oil and rubber industries are destroying forrests throughout the tropics. The contractors just kill orangutans if they are in the way.

I spent some time talking to the orangutans in my local zoo and the orangutan looked so sad, even though she was taking an interest in everything, her keeper explained that they have no facial muscles. Most zoos have endangered species so they will be able to release them one day. And zoos are actually very nice places for animals because they have a place to live with no predators, also they are very educational for young children instead of looking them up on the internet they actually get to see them. Have a nice day :)

+Jordan.izquierdo, well it depends on the zoo. Some zoos are good, some zoos are bad. It's like the human race. Some are good, some are bad. Only the *good* zoos are the acceptable ones. But the ones that do stuff like keeping animals in tiny cages and doing shit like that? No way.

@Strength of the Wild Is killing a neighouring chimp tribe necessary or not? You call also find a video where a group of chimps torture a racoon just for pleasure. So stop this "animals are not cruel" bullshit.

@Strength of the Wild So by your logic, neither humans, nor animals are cruel?

@Strength of the Wild KZbin "Chimps vs racoon", this is definitely not done because the racoon is a threat. I see no difference between human cruel behaviour and this behaviour exhibited by chimps. If you look better, you can see even more cruel chimp videos. They are not that different from humans after all. A donkey is more different from a horse compared to humans and chimps.
