This is the saddest thing I've ever seen I wanted to climb through the screen and bring peanut back to my house and we would be best buds and I'd climb with him in the forest out side my house but idk why but it was adorable when he lost his temper

That captivity looks like jail, they just pump the animals full of vaccines and feed them sugary fruit all day. And then they dont show him love when hes crying. Humans suck.

I don't think peanut is 11 now. You can adopt him via Orangutan Appeal UK if you want to support him www.orangutan-appeal.org.uk/adopt/product/peanut There are probably a few Orangutans who have been named Peanut hence the confusion but I'm 90% sure this is the same one
@youngdarkvader84066 жыл бұрын
Mike Hamilton it’s not legal to keep an orangutan as a pet where I live mike maybe u can take care of peanut?
@mikehamilton3676 жыл бұрын
You don't physically adopt them! You just donate money to their care and they give you a certificate that says you have adopted. Hundreds of people will 'adopt' each orangutan
@youngdarkvader84066 жыл бұрын
Mike Hamilton ok mike that sounds great I’m going to dig around on your link and see if that is the genuine authentic peanut and if so I would love to support him to stay healthy socialize climb and find his mother also I’m sorry I can’t find the comma button on my iPad

I just love peanut so muchand I wish that people would have held him like he wanted to be.. I know that I would have.. but there must be some important reasons the rehabilitators know that I don't.. I think you guys are amazing..thx. for not giving up on him and the others and the future animals you meet

Amy Ahearne I've been boycotting palm oil for about a year, but new research shows that may not be effective and might be worse in the long run. It's better to support companies that use sustainable palm plantations. From Smithsonian, "No other crop can yield even a third as much oil per acre planted. And along with using less land, the oil palm gobbles up significantly fewer pesticides and chemical fertilizers than coconut, corn or any other vegetable oil source." www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/giving-up-palm-oil-might-actually-be-bad-environment-180958092/ Also, this Australian/Kiwi site is a good resource. www.palmoilinvestigations.org/is-boycott-the-answer.html
