I was natural for 7 years then had locs for 3 years. I had 58 locs and it took me 2 months to comb them out because I didn’t want to rush. I’m now decided to be a straight natural. I need a easy hair lifestyle to match my schedule.

Just wanted to say thank you for documenting your loc journey your locs are very similar to mine. I was wondering if you deal with breakage at the very end of your locs and if so how do you manage it? I have a bad habit of just pulling the ends out

Noooooooo, don't do that. Don't pull your ends out. If your locs are fully mature, just trim off the ends up to the healthy part. If they are not fully mature, they are trying to and just leave them alone. Our locs go through different phases until they settle. I'll continue to do more loc talk videos on my channel in 2024. @@NeziNappsakaNezi Thanks for the advice. I’ll stop! I’ll be two years loc’d on Dec 31st they’re still maturing in my opinion and the balls/loose curly ends at the ends crazy so I just pull them out

I agree cut them because I'm thinking it's a trend get locs for length and then comb them out but I have been loc'd for 6 yrs my 2nd set I want to cut mine off every other week 😂 but when I do a pixie cut is what I'm getting

Please don't cut your locs. If these youngins who have 1000 locs and take 32 days to comb them out and maintain length. You told us you only had sixty locs. That should not take so long. Plus do a video if you decided to remove your locs. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.

If I decide that I don't want them, anymore, there is no way I'm going to sit through pain, for 32 days, just to keep length; no ma'am. I'm not into length like that. I have around 77 locs and will cut them out without delay, especially, if they are super long and old. The older locs are really hard to comb out. Most of the time when people comb them out, they are within the 5 year range. I'm very tender headed, too?....un, un...I can not do that. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, 2u2.

@Gemini_Rising That's the thing. I'm done with the growth journey. I achieved my goal, remember? I'm free to have fun with my, again, with no restrictions. That's why I locked my hair. No, I'm not considering going back, loose, at this time. So, dont dont get too excited, toots.😅 Like I said in the video, I've always been spontaneous with my hair. I used to wear it in different styles, cuts and colors, before I started KZbin. I just never saw my hair grow past shoulder length and wanted to see if, I could do it and I did. In that process, I discovered that my hair grows really long and full, which gives me the room to play.😁😉

They look like they're fully locked now and are getting longer. I knew you would say cut them. The time it takes to pick them out could be spent growing it back. Lol. Are you thinking about cutting them out later on?
