The 268 page Edgedancer is more of my speed at the moment. I’m happy you’re pushing through with the rest of the series, but 1,000 plus page tomes are so daunting when I already have a massive backlog! Happy reading, Ted. - Todd

Thanks, Todd! Yeah, I've thought about trying a different series, but it's just my concern I will forget what happens so I try to push through to the end. Insanity, I'm sure! LOL

Great review Ted, so hard to try and not spoil things. Hopefully it doesn’t take that long for book 10. I’ve not read anything by Sanderson, he’s on my ever growing lists.

If you ever read any Sanderson, let me know. I'd enjoy hearing your thoughts. :)

Wow, you're plowing right through these cinder block books. I'm getting a headache just trying to follow the synopsis. 😊 Glad you're enjoying them. Think I saw on Goodreads that you're working on Jurassic Park as well. Now that one takes me back a few decades! Thanks for the video, and have a nice week.

Yeah, if I stop to think about what I'm doing with these huge tomes, I'd probably stop! LOL! Yes, I'm enjoying Jurassic Park, but gosh it's quite a bit different than the movie. I hope to do a buddy read with some other Booktubers in January about it. I hope you have a great week as well, Bryan. Thanks for commenting!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the book! The reveals in this book are the best. Love all the character moments. And the battles. Really, everything about this book. lol. So good!

Yeah, it was definitely good! Looking forward to Oathbringer, although I hear it and RoW left some people wanting more. Haha! :)

@ Oathbringer is the favorite of some people I know. You could fall into that camp as well! I think it might be my second favorite. A little difficult to judge between it and The Way of Kings.

If you decide to try it, I hope you'll report back (or better - film a video!) - I'd love to hear your thoughts, Phillip. :)

I wasn’t super crazy about Mistborn either. I’ve enjoyed Stormlight quite a bit more. I didn’t enjoy Oathbringer or Rhythm of War as much as the first two but they were still good. I had my copy of Wind and Truth sent to Arizona and I’m in Illinois lol so I don’t have it yet.

You're not the first person I've heard say that about Oathbringer and Rhythm of War. It should be interesting what I think about them. :) Thanks for commenting!

I'm not a huge Sanderson fan. The first two SA books were easy enough to get through, but Oathbringer was an absolute bloated slog. Haven't been able to bring myself to start the next one. His writing is pretty average.

Thanks for commenting, Jesse! Yes, I've heard that about Sanderson from both sides of the camp. I felt that way with Mistborn, but for some reason I'm able to stay engaged with the Stormlight Archive. Now, that's the first two books. We shall see if I feel the same way after Oathbringer! Haha! What fantasy books/authors do you recommend? I'm always happy to add to my ever-growing TBR! :)
