@rebeltug2 жыл бұрын
@@Eu_Sou_A_Novia_Countryball i think people underestimate what you need to gig. And this is not a beginner amp, by any means. Most venues just mic up the amp and send it through the PA anyways so you could realistically get away with a combo. These are Joyos equivalent to an Orange Micro Dark, Micro Terror, etc. They are certainly loud enough to play in a decent sized venue, because any decent sized venue will probably have a PA. I’d say with a good EQ peda and OD to clean it up a little bit, maybe a compressor if that’s your thing, you’d have a super solid sounding budget live rig, as long as you have a good cab to accompany it. (also, i see live bands all the time that have the shittiest live tones, their guitars are so buried you cant even hear what they’re playing. They’re running 6505’s, btw. Sometimes it’s about the engineer, not the gear. One of the best tones i’ve heard live was a local metal band running through an orange micro dark -> harley benton cab. Sounded fucking great in the room, just like every other band that night. Needless to say the engineer kicks ass)

This is my signal path: Guitar-tuner-mini wah-Overdrive-(input of amp)-send out to EQ pedal-Noise Suppressor-reverb-delay-(dly out) to Seymour Duncan Powerstage 700 input-SMPS700 out to 2x12 cab. With this rig setup I have a tube preamp running through two sources of post EQ and have 700 solid state watts of power. What you have going there, the Zombie II almost sounds like a Dual Rec mixed with something, maybe a VH4 or a 5150/6505 or a Soldano or something. Been playing mostly metal for 25 years and have had endless amounts of equipment over those years....my current rig with the joyo zombie 2 is the best sounding and feeling rig to date. As follows..jackson warrior with emg het set, joyo zombie 2 with a tung sol tube, line 6 hx effects in the loop and a fender mustang 4x12 cab with 3 eminence swap thangs and 1 man o war wired to 16 ohms mono. I have had a ada mp1, red bear tube head, b52 at 100, boss katana 2x12 combo and my last amp before the joyo was a mesa badlander 50 watt head and mesa over sized cab. I had to sell the mesa rig for financial reasons and I loved that amp, but like I said, my joyo rig sounds better then my mesa did. Wish I would have know and I could have literally saved thousands of dollars. I have always been a bedroom player and don't play in a band so I can't say how it would sound in that situation but with a 10 band eq and noise gate my set up is absolutely a bone crushing brutal wall of fire. 20 watts is more then enough to push my 570 watt cab. For all the big name purest out there, don't be a mesa snob like I was lol, this little guy packs a serious punch. Just try it! Order off of Amazon and if you dont like it, free returns baby!! ...what it lacks in features, it will more then make up in tone. And with the line 6 hx effects I can get every other tone I need and with channel switching to the zombie. That's my 2 cents, peace out!
